I am fine kids...thanks for thinking of me! I've been sick, lost 24 pounds, had surgery, got better and have been rebuilding a house with my husband. Today I stained the (30 by 40) front deck at our house, cleaned up and weeded around the back deck, cleaned the entire house, did 6 loads of laundry, cleaned the patio and weeded around the boat dock. I'm finally beat...as soon as these monster puppies slow down I'm heading for bed!

Wow it's no wonder you lost all that weight!! BUSY lady;)

Well, it was a combination of being sick and having surgery but now that it's gone (a total of 40 pounds) I feel so great I just can't stop. I think I'm afraid that if I do it will sneak up on me again!

Mercy me woman! Wish I'd had the kind of surgery you did! I did lose 20 lbs. with mine. But I have no energy. I'm really glad to hear that you are feeling so much better now. I know you had a really rough time of it.

So I want to lose 40 more pounds. Anyone know an easy way other than Atkins?!:D

I'm getting up @ 4:50 a.m. to go to boot camp class. I love it and in 6 weeks I've lost 6 pounds!! I slacked this week tho. I hd to go Downtown for training Tuesday, yesterday I was too tired and today I just couldn't get up. I will make it tomorrow:dogzzz::dogzzz:, I;ve been jogging after work too. anyway, that's how I'm losing weight.

Well, the surgery was a partial hysterectomy and I feel great now. I think my weight loss was simply because of the food poisoning issue...it did so much damage to my system that I couldn't eat very much at one time or even in one day. I lost the weight by eating (a lot) less than normal...no snacks and more water. Mind you now...it wasn't because I diciplined myself to do those things...I'm not that good...but that route did work for me. Now that I've been eating so much less for the last 7 months it's kind of become habit and I'm keeping it off...of course...working outside in this 90 degree heat and high humidity helps melt a few pounds away too!

And...thank you...I am feeling much better!

I just found the threads about the 2009 YT meetup. What a sad situation.:( Too bad things didn't work out better. I wonder if we're even having one.

I was checking the train schedules vs flying and it's actually cheaper (about $500) for me to fly! I was shocked to see that is costs $309 for a roomette (bed) on the train overnight each way. So it's almost a thousand to take the train and that doesn't include meals! It's MUCH chaper if you can sit for a day and a half in a coach seat - but that's not even a thought for me even though they do recline.

Did anyone elses gas prices go down today? Our's were 4.18 and today they were 4.07! I'm gonna fill up in the morning - well maybe a 1/2 tank 'cause I heard they might go down a little more this next week.

Yes there is going to be one....we're supposed to stay tuned for information.:D A

DH bought gas for 3.89 earlier today!!!!!! It is supposed to be coming down again later this week!

Hello all...I know, I always miss you people, my timing is off!!!
I am thinking seriously about the Alexandria meet-up...I'm just worried about Winston, I don't think he will do well with so many people and dogs, he is so anti-social...but on the other hand I would hate to go without him...decisions-decisions!!!
