we got married in may 06. had our wedding in nov. '06. we celebrate in november. but technically we have been married a year and a half. i hear the first year is the hardest...but i can't imagine it should be THIS hard.

The first year is pretty hard when you're getting used to living with each other, etc. Some people adjust to it easier than others, I guess. My first marriage started out good but gradually got worse. My second marriage has been much easier, although we did have a rough time in the beginning. I had two kids from my previous marriage so it was hard for us to get it together with discipline and taking care of the kids since he never had kids. But, it all worked out. I hope it does for you too!

Remember the blanket I want to order for my son's friends that are having a baby? Well, I saw the baby's room over the weekend, and the cars and trucks they did the room in are in baby colors! It's really pretty, but I guess the fabric I picked out isn't going to match very well.

I'm sorry I'm being such a pain with these blankets and fabrics.

how about the butterfly's and the zoo animals?

for the cars and trucks one...i'm wondering if i shouldnt make him a blanket from cotton or flannel...there tends to be more options for those types of fabric. it wouldn't be a "no sew" blanket, but i can make one side fleece for the softness, and the other side the cotton..for the print. and just sew them together nicely. what do you think about that???

I think the butterflies and zoo animals will be fine.

The cars and trucks in my son's friend's baby's room are pastel colors....like baby colors, ya know what I mean? I wasn't expecting that, but it really does look nice!

I just got back from Mcdonalds and got breakfast. the woman gave me a free sweet tea. ( i guess because i know her and we're both yorkie owners?) and when i get home i looked and they gave me a sausage & egg biscuit and i only ordered sausage biscuit lol.. all kind of good stuff today!!!
