Actually, it was a very easy way to learn sewing. It was all right there in front of me and I knew it worked because it had been a dress before I took out all the seams. I'm a very visual learner.

Yes, I've made a few dresses, suits, wedding gowns, and attendants gowns in my day!:D You name it I've probably sewn it.;)

There are some left-handed patterns but not very many. Once you learn it doesn't matter. But I didn't have any left-handed patterns when I was learning so the mirror was the next best thing - or my mother sitting across from me doing it right-handed.:rolleyes:

Mandee, does the Dr. know what is causing your headaches? Codeine is not a good long-term solution for a headache. I hope he/she's looking into that for you.


Glad to see you posted Omega! And yes, Congratulations on your milestone, because it may not be perfect, but it's an important part of your life!

Oh, and Omega, you forgot the sugar over the apples before the topping unless you're using canned pie filling (ick). You have an apple tree? Lucky you!

hey!!!!
he basically wanted me to take the codein as needed until my strep is gone...just to provide some relief. then once the strep is gone, if the headaches start up again, he wants to run some ct scans. he "thinks" that the headaches might be caused by the strep but if not, he wants to look into it more

Ah OK. That makes more sense. Headaches are nothing to fool around with and so many things can cause them. I've had migraines for 30+ years but they come and go. Silly things. They seem to be under control now.

Hope your strep goes away soon and the headaches with it!

maggie and daisy (my cocker) just got into a fight. maggie is soooooooooooo jealous of daisy. she just does NOT like her. and maggie is VERY territorial. well, we got our food delivered today and we had the bin sitting in the middle of the kitchen. maggie was guarding it. every time daisy would come near it, maggie would snap at her and bark viciously. well, daisy walked near it and maggie ATTACKED her!! they were rolling in the kitchen having at it. we broke them up right away but maggie had to be put on her back. she was still trying to get at daisy.

man...she just really does not like daisy at all. they don't normally fight...but maggie just won't let daisy near anything that she thinks is "hers". she is not like that with our other dog at all..just daisy.

I am doing good. I bought this game to play, but I don't think its going to work with Windows Vista, so I joined this forums, and ppl are reading my thread but no one is responding!

Hmmm, well maybe they don't know how to respond or don't have an answer or comment. Sometimes people come back and comment after they have time to think about it.

Oh I understand now that you've given more information. You meant that you joined a Vista forum for help and no one has replied to your request. They get hundreds of those and it's difficult for them to reply in a timely manner. I hope they get back to you soon.

LOL...i don't know what it is. maybe it's because when i first got maggie, daisy was not nice to her. but after about a week, all was peaceful. but over the last couple of months, maggie has just grown a hatred towards daisy. i can't figure it out. daisy is just the sweetest thing ever!!! i feel so bad for her.

heck, my dd might need counseling because of it. she was in her room crying. when i asked her what was wrong, she said daisy and maggie scared her.

she is ok now...but poor thing!!!!

daisy really is a great dog. i have never been a fan of cockers...but she chose me. you know how that goes :) she is such a cuddle bug...and just an all around GREAT dog.

Ooooo, I love Cockers. We had two before we had Indy. But it's been a long time.

For awhile they had gotten so inbred that it was difficult to find a good-tempered one unless you really knew the lines. They seem to be doing well now though. Send her to me! Right now! I will love her - poor little baby.

I joined the Atri? forums, I think thats how you spell it. They are the ppl who created the game. I am just going to take it back, I don't want anything to go wrong with the computer or the game and me end up having to put extra money into fixing the computer. Plus it will prob make it slower if I did install it.
