Changing the subject back to sweetgum trees, here is an article in the Atlanta Journal I stumbled upon that will tell you about gumballs RR! If they are going to start being valuable, maybe I won't cut them down after all!

:lol tears OMG...it does look like it has eyes and a beak...I knew they were alive and laughing at me and my husband when we try to pick them up out of our yard. They come from Sweetgum Trees and each tree produces about 3 kazillion gumballs a year. They stick to Bonnie everytime she goes outside :rolleyes:

We have palms (palmetto) and also sweet gum trees here in Charleston. I love California though, it's gorgeous out there. I spent a whole week last March traveling the coast from Santa Barbara to San Francisco and loved every minute of it.

Thanks, for the info, those are quite interesting, we have something like that, which KILLS to step on, but I think they are some kind of seed pods.

I found you, I found you! Geez, I'm off for one day (traveling home, then spent the evening getting puppy kisses) and you are all hanging out on a new thread. And, since it ANNOUNCES that Deb and Rhonda will be off topic, no one will ever view it. What an excellent idea! We could talk about anybody here, and they'll never know. Kidding, admin, I'm kidding.
I'm so glad to be home and back at "work". OMG Tucker nearly went through the glass door when he saw me last night. I was standing on the porch and he was looking out (he has to stand on hind legs to see out) and I kept saying "Is that my puppy? Where's my baby?" so he would get down and bark his head off, then realize he couldn't see me anymore, so he'd get back up and I would start all over. Hubby was on the couch and said "Oh for pete's sake, would you just come in already" He gets cranky when I play with the dog (or the kids) mind....

I wanted to check all of the new posts, but this one was 3rd, I haven't moved on yet.

I saw Gina's taking Princess to see the Easter Bunny. Who else is taking their's? Wish Ramsey had had all her shots :( :(

Btw, as a teen I was the Easter Bunny at the mall. That gig paid me 6.50 an hour...minimum wage at the time was 2.50...I was in fat city :D

6.50! No kiddin\' fat city! I haven\'t seen anything in our papers yet, doing that, I did it at Christmas and the pic\'s were horrid, I told my neighbor, next year give me the 20 bucks and I\'ll take the pictures.
