My incision from hyst. goes hip to hip also. Hus also had to buy me the granny panties but he was being funny and brought me the biggest size the had. I could have fit my whole family in there with me.

Another note...the medical staff seemed very concerned about bowel movements...must've asked me a thousand times...have ya gone yet? I finally asked dh...'why the h-ll do they keep asking me that ?" He was in the operating room w/ me, watched the whole thing...while I looked at a sheet....any way....he said..."Deb, they took out all your guts (his words) and put 'em on your chest. I think they'll just making sure they didn't kink up something important"

Btw, his "hospital scrubs" had printing on the back that said...."I helped make a miracle today". We still have those.

PS My dad burst into the recovery room after, nurses running behind him...you can't be in here....he said "I just gotta make sure she's ok" Held my hand, gave me a kiss, teared up...and told me..."I just needed to see my own baby

Yeah, I learned about the low panites right off, so I dug out an old grannie pair I had been saving for God knows what,, But they are working,, cept I gotta wash em alot,, another reason I need to go to the store,,, hmmm.

Here's a concern I had the other day,,, ' hope they got all their tools and swabs and any other thing out before they sewed me up'... ya know we have all heard those horror stories!

Know anybody that has a metal detector? Have them run that over you for peace of mind !
