you just never know. We have been taking care of him for years, his health has really gone down hill. It's really sad. |
Gina....I am sorry to hear about your friends dog. He was so blessed to have him for that long...but I'm sure it is really hard on him right now! You are such a good friend to take care of him..I'm glad that you and your husband are there for him! |
So sorry to hear about your friends furbaby Gina. I can't believe he lived to be 18 that is amazing! I'm all for the day after the holiday holiday. Actually, I had to drive down Rt 18 (which will mean nothing to anyone but Sneri), it's the road back from down the shore. It was bumper to bumper in the other direction. I guess a lot of people took today off, and the traffic was horrible coming back. I have to go pick up the laundry folded all over the livingroom. Chiropractor is coming in 2 hours and it needs to look presentable. |
Awww, I feel so bad for your friend. At our first house....behind us lived a woman in her early 80's...she had a little dashuand, Toby....who was pretty close to her age...LOL. She fussed and worried over Toby. Told my hubby one day....when something happens to Toby, Mrs. Adams' will die...she's alive now because she has to worry over Toby. Any way....take care of your friend. The locked thread wasn't because of the topic....the topic went OT so to speak. It went OT BEFORE I got there. ;) AND STUPID VERIZON DECIDED I WAS DONE WITH YT TODAY!! Threw me off line....and took me this long to get connected AGAIN. Had help from India. Every Indian sentence begins with ma'am and ends with ma'am. |
Thanks All, It is going to be really hard. We kind of adopted him to our family. And we know P G is the only thing that has kept him going this long. P G didn't have a care in the world. That baby was not only spoiled with everything a furbaby could dream of, he was very much loved by all, even the Mailman. Princess will miss him too, I'm sure when I take her over there, she's going to be looking for him. I'll give him a YT hug when I see him later today.:2hearts2: :2hearts2: :2hearts2: |
I forgot....attention Target shoppers. In the dollar spot...they have really really cute summer rubber, squeaky toys. Little flip flops, a life ring (Ramsey's personal fav....your nose fits perfectly inside the inner ring....just great for caring), and red hibiscus flowers. Mellie just may get some summer toys 'cause she's been so patient. :) Thought of something, Sneri...if your buddy sent it via parcel post....it takes forever. It's cheaper but it means the PO doesn't touch it until they have to. Won something on eBay once that came parcel post....took 2 weeks for it to get here....2 weeks from Indiana to VA. |
Good thing this is a short week, because TODAY has lasted TWO days already. |
Just ordered Bailey a BD. gift, nothing like waiting till the last minute,, I got him one of those " Security" tank tops from www.purecountry.com they sent me an email and it was the one they were showing, I have always wanted one for him to wear here at work, I think it will be hysterical. Might go to Target this weekend, we keep talking about it,, but don't go..:( So I'm thinkin' just what he needs a tank top to wear in the summer, like he's not hot enough... Oh well! Too late now.. |
