Hmmm, Nah they are too good. Besides they said the one (blue dress) was too busy screaming, they had her convinced there was a ghost with a shovel coming to get her. |

One of our fund raisers was a wine tasting. We were on eyewitness news becuase some mother from MADD was protesting. She thought that it set a poor example having a wine tasting to raise funds for PG... Then our brilliant mayor was guoted as saying. "Do you know how many cupcakes you need to sell to raise around 30k" which is what the wine tasing raised |

We have a fund raiser every year at a local comedy club. We get the same comments about going out and getting drunk so the kids won't have to. What morons! Hello, the parents are of drinking age! And they are drinking responsibly. I don't drink, but what does MADD think, that no one ever should? Turned out to be a nice day today. Of course, I spent most of it taking a nap on the couch! It is so QUIET here without Megan.... |
Hey Guys, hope everyone is having a good weekend, HOT here, in the 90's and HUMID, did yardwork today, and getting ready to go to Moms for a cook out, making pasta salad as we speak, Last night girls night to the festival beer garden.. You know how that goes. Just logged on to order Another bedskirt turns out Yellow is not pale yellow, but Schoolbus YELLOW, which I am NOT diggin'! So hope everyone is having fun, Sounds like Megan is,and glad prom went well.. TTYL~ |
The cemetery?!?!? Well that is the most original after prom idea that I've ever heard of.....certainly more original than what we did. ;) I don't know about NJ, but here in VA it's illegal to be in a cemetery after dusk. How do I know....we once got pulled over by the police while in a cemetery at night. One halloween party had a scavenger hunt and one of the things you had to do was get a rubbing of an old headstone. The oldest one was the winner. A bunch of us....dressed up, mind you....are going from headstone to headstone....get back in the car....here comes the cops. I explain....while in my french maid costume...that we weren't digging up graves for body parts, no eye of newt in my vehicle...com' on....look at us....obviously we are telling the truth....our saving grace was that rubbing. ;) PS Friend is a Ches cop....guess what traffic stop was the talk of the water cooler later. ;) Megan sounds like she's having a great time..too bad BM forgot her kid's name....LOL. Got my house back together and cleaned after the painting. None of Gina's Mexican employees showed up to help. We, also, have 4000 blow up toys. To enjoy the pool it is necessary to blow up at least 3950 of them...of which 3945 have holes which you forgot about. I am buying my pool boy (hubby) a remote control boat which is also a skimmer. Maybe if you had one of these, Sneri, you could intice your pool boy to show up. Painting porch furniture is a PIA. Who thought this was a good idea? Had run for rabbit relay yesterday. Sorry was unable to capture it on film. ;) Kitty brother #2 comes from the waterfront carrying a bunny. Very proud of himself, I must say....I'm yelling for hubby. He goes out and says...hey, buddy, what cha got, can I see? Course Kitty #2 is very eager to show off his trophy, promptly drops him. Hubby picks bunny up. Ask if it's ok? Bout that time, bunny JUMPS outta hubby's hands. He says...yep, think so. By this time....the rest of the kitty herd is present along with one yorkie puppy who thinks bunnies look like fun. After wrestling with cats and Ramsey...finally get bunny. Fortunately, he looked ok and his heart held out.... Today's agenda....paint one chair, head to a annual cookout where lobster will NOT be on the menu. Almost forgot my weather report.... :sun: and HOT. And it doesn't matter what the pool temperature is....if all you're doing is going down to yours knees...until August....cooling off happens at knee level. Happy Memorial Day!! |

Can't wait to see Mac and Mellie again, they are so adorable. I'll give a full report tomorrow! Have a great Memorial Day everyone. |

Cute..... Instructions on how to clean your toilet 1. Put the lid of the toilet up and add 1/8 cup of pet shampoo to the water in the bowl. 2. Pick up the cat and soothe him while you carry him towards the bathroom. 3. In one smooth movement, put the cat in the toilet and close the lid. You may need to stand on the lid. 4. The cat will self agitate and make ample suds. Never mind the noises that come from the toilet, the cat is actually enjoying this. 5. Flush the toilet three or four times. This provides a "power-wash" and rinse." 6. Have someone open the front door of your home. Be sure that there are no people between the bathroom and the front door. 7. Stand behind the toilet as far as you can, and quickly lift the lid. 8. The cat will rocket out of the toilet, streak through the bathroom, and run outside where he will dry himself off. 9. Both the commode and the cat will be sparkling clean. Sincerely, The Dog |
