Dear Still waiting in Ohio. I hope you don't have to wait to long for your lilac bush to bloom.

If you got it from a nursery it had to be at least a year old so it should be blooming sooner than you think.

Rr, does your lilac bush get full sun? Also do you prune it? It blooms on new growth, if you prune it....do it now...not later. If you prune in the summer or fall...it will not bloom the following year. And don't over fertilize it....that makes it just grow leaves...
