Hello from sunny Florida...however that could change soon....tropical storm headed this way :eek: My brother just called and said just wanted to let you know you can evacuate to my house (he is 3 hrs from here) when you get hit by a hurricane :mad: smart a$$. Told him i am hoping for stormy weather one day...love me a good storm especially looking out over the water...however...one day is all i'm signing up for ;)

Bonnie's isn't quite sure about it here....didn't potty at all on the trip down....8 hours :eek: however she did christen the carpet just inside the door when we got here!! She is not happy with the sand spurs here, my hands were bleeding getting them off of her after she went potty this morning....If we come back here...i'll have to bring a square of sod for her ;) no grass on the beach!

Had a flat tire on the way down....added a few hours to the trip!! But we are here and I hope I don't have to go off this island for a week...best friend is coming Wednesday...can't wait!!

Yep....the island is close to Appalichicola for those of you watching the storm...right now weather channel is saying it could hit from appalichicola to tampa....hopefully it will keep moving south!! it is beautiful here today!!

Hey everyone. Quiet Sunday afternoon here. Megan is holed up in her room on laptop. Hubby took ds to park to play tennis. No, hubby does not play, he watches!

I started my antibiotic for oral surgery on the 21st. I don't know what the heck it did to me, went to bed around 11 on Friday (toasted you rr, with my cranbury juice!) and woke up at 2 today! Another lost Saturday. Heard it was nice out.

Deb that is wonderful about dd's volleyball championship! I used to love to play volleyball. Good job!

Well, I think I'll go crawl on the couch now.

The BBQ was good, but not as cookout'ish as I thought.. had BBQ chicken. mashed potatoes, noodles,and salad,and rolls, and wine..
It was all great.. and a yummy pineapple walnut cake that my stepmom makes..and I suggested it. :D
Anyhow,,,that's over for another 364 days...:rolleyes: But a I think I'm done with BD's, then I'll never be 40..lol.:D

It is the opposite here for June, at my dads yesterday it was cool in the low 60's actually had a fire in fire pit on the deck.. and it gets in the 50's at night. I just looked at the paper and it says 50's every night all week.

Weather here is sunny and high 70's. Yeah.. I am so busy at work it's our managers meeting this week so I have to prepare for meetings. It's the whirl wind week of meetings, dinners, and whatever.. I will try and check in when I can or I will be 2000 pages behind by Friday.

Learned valuable lesson. Never weed rose garden without gloves and long sleeves.:eek: :eek:
