We have the eastern shore...it's a peninsula but people still it the EASTERN SHORE...at least the part in VA.

Ramsey is terrified of the bang command. Not cause I say it loud....she does NOT like me making her lay on her side. We're still working on it....sometimes I'll say BANG and she gets up and leaves the room. :rolleyes:

PS Hot bacon vinaigrette is good.

Hmmmm I guess anything can taste good off the grill:confused:

Poor Ramsey, and just why are you giving her the Bang Command?

Hmmmm, all are shores are on the east?!?!?!?!?! But that's really the beach, so it would be the eastern beach after you get down the shore.

We also have to pay to get on all our beaches. For the most part they are privately owned.

We have to pay for one here, but it's so worth it,

I didn't make up that grilled lettuce recipe....the flavor editor of our paper did. I didn't even know you could grill lettuce. :rolleyes:

I had heard ya'll pay....our beaches are free. :)

That's exactly how I would feel with my middle..... It would mean he is going with as many girls as he can find.

I just got a call from him. He was telling me he had to go to six grade orientation at his school tonight, as a guide and film for his broadcast journalism class. I said do I have to come and fill out a permission slip. He said no you already did that...:eek: :eek: :eek: Hmmmm must be that sometimmers I get acting up again.

It's bad enough my boss is killing me here, then when I finally get to sign on, I have pages and pages of reading to do! You guys are stressing me out! Yes, the shore people call it down the shore. Even the Cape May people who are at the END of the shore in NJ!

We have an illeagal turtle named Scooter. He is icky...Megan loves him. Plastic rock and all.

I do not paint. Ever! I would move first. Hubby paints but does a crappy job. He doesn't believe in trim, masking tape or floor covers! My whole house needs a paint job.

I am off on Friday and Monday too!!! Yippeeeee! Megan is leaving tomorrow with her best friend for 5 days in Disney. She is so excited. How come I never had friends like that? Her Aunt and Uncle who are childless always include Megan in anything they do with Jess. Uncle Don tells us they adore her, she is delightful....let's see what they think after a week with her. Even she can't keep company manners up for a week. If they still like her next Wed, I'll let them adopt her!

No need to import girls....they're already there. ;)

Just an FYI...if you call the NON emergency number for the police here....you get a recording which says call 911. :questione

We have the same thing. Only first you have to hear, "for the mayor's office push 1, for the council push 2, for the office on aging push 3, for the recreation dept. push 4.....finally for the police...If this is an emergency hang up and call 911. Like, I'm already dead, waiting for that message!
Ramsey did it once so that you would know she CAN, now she's saying hell no, I won't!

And sounds like Megan would love her new parents. ;) If she doesn't morph sometime during this time into Regan....then she is NOT a normal 13 year old girl.

Forgot to tell you guys....our school gives awards at the end of the year....top secret...the best of the best awards. So how did they inform dh and I to come to the ceremony? By mail....addressed to "the parents of"....which Casey reads to mean...her. So the cat is outta the bag at our house...and obviously she's getting one for most nosey. :rolleyes:

And tomorrow we are going to a reception with the mayor. C entered one of her poems into a diversity contest the mayor had....so we got the formal invite. I have no clue why C is adament about meeting the mayor. :rolleyes:

I did all the scan things and no errors so I go to defrag it gets to 10% and tells me- Drive's contents changed: restarting.... :mad: So I check and close everthing I can.... same thing over and over....:eek:
I'm done...

Congratulations to your dd. They have to send those invites out because only parents only go to those things with the oldest child...after that they quickly learn how boring they are and only go if they get the "invite". Maybe she has a few suggestions for the Mayor :eek:

Once you get out of grammer school everything here is addressed to the parents of... Middle son, learned very quickly after being grounded for 2 months that doesn't mean you take your report card and pretend it didn't come.

Last year we got the letter, I didn't show up:eek: :eek: :eek: Daughter was really mad, I told her I never got the letter. She said oh yes you did, I read it, Oh I think I left it in my room. Yep, like I said, I never got it.
That should teach her not to read my mail.

Son just called, Mom I know you're on YT, but can you check this web site and see who's going to be at a concert for me. LOL, he's in Disneyland, my guess is in a really long line.

Anyway, I ask him do you want me to get the tickets too. Yep, opened my big mouth, 200 bucks later, I get Thanks Mom, you're the best.
Good thing he's going to be a Doctor, he can take care of me when I'm old.
