DYK that if you add a touch of oil to boiling water before cooking noodle they wont stick together ?

I love horses but sadly I missed it.

Yes, a bunch of people watched the first Derby. I think there was a crowd of 10,000 gathered at the racetrack built by the Louisville Jockey Club, just outside of Louisville, in the track that become eventually known as Churchill Downs.

As you missed today's race, the favorite, California Chrome, won!

I would love to go one day. Kentucky is just a state away, it would be fun to get all glammed up and go watch.

I had a complete hysterectomy to remove ovarian cancer on March 21st and I'm still waiting for the dr to give me the okay on doing the horizontal lambada with the hubby, nudge, nudge, wink, wink!

if you boil with enough water it won't stick. But if you put oil in the water the sauce won't stick either . . . This is my Italian half talking :)

Did you know you should reheat leftover pizza in a nonstick skillet on top of the stove, on med-low and heat till warm? This keeps the crust crispy. No soggy micro pizza.

Baby powder helps remove wet sand easily.

Applying under eye concealer in a triangle instead of a half moon conceals dark under eye circles better.

DYK if you wrap celery in aluminum foil it will stay fresh for weeks in the frig.

Yes I did . . that is how I always do it and there is some in there now. To my knowledge it has stayed fresh for up to two weeks or longer.


DYK that if celery freezes I goes limp and is ruined.

No,. but try it and let me know how it goes.


DYK that you can use shaving cream on your bathroom mirror to stop it from fogging up during showers. (Just take a small amount and apply and than wipe off with a damp cloth)
