I'll bet since you probably have more than one dog! Well, Tibbe finally calmed down and now it's started raining, which is a for sure calmer for Tibbe. Soon as he sees it is raining, he usually curls right up and nods off to sleep and stays asleep a long, long time. He must not care for rainy weather as he is unusually quiet and sleepy once rain starts. He will barely ask to go outside - waits hours before asking. So I'm finally going to get a quiet "garbage day" for a change!

Sitting her exhaling. Somehow got my computer desktop turned UPSIDE DOWN ON MY COMPUTER!!! Couldn't do a thing - everything was turned entirely around upside down. Was sitting her looking at desktop picture of Shirley Temple doll and all my desktop icons from the wrong way - upside down! Could not control my computer hardly at all with cursor from upside down! Almost panicked B4 calling Sony but did and got this guy who said, Oh, push Control, Alt and the Up arrow and it will right iself! I did and it did! I'm weak for relief!! He said somehow I had pushed Control, Alt and either the Up or Down arrow and that was what did it and he said I can do it again if I want and undo it the same way. I will never do that again, at least not willingly! Scary how quickly you can get into trouble on a computer!

Oh my gosh! I would be freaking out! Glad it was such an easy fix! Computers can be so crazy sometimes!

Oh, it was awful. Try to use your cursor via touchpad when everything is upside down is hard. It was crazy. If I hadn't had a number to call, it would have taken me forever to have gotten google brought up and a search, let alone trying to read and page down, etc., all upside down. But thank God I called and 2 touch entries later a real human being answered the call! I told him my problem and he just, oh, no problem, just do this - and told me what to do, I did it and it fixed it! I was so grateful. Whew! (I have since turned it upside down and on its side even on purpose just to be sure I could undo it and you can! You could really freak somebody out doing that to their computer sceen and walking away!)

Well, sitting here deciding between a movie or my book. It is very very warm here today but we are getting cooler weather later today or tonight, I think. It rained earlier and now just humid as heck. Going to turn on the fan. Tibbe has been lying in the den window just to get some air. Ick.

Oh i would have been in big trouble :D Jeanie since you know what my heart is really set on, maybe you could alert me if you see one unless you are looking for another ;)

Oh, golly! I'm too busy trying to pay for this one to get another any time soon! I'll gladly look for you - am always sneaking over to Ebay and looking looking looking. I think you would love to have one of those. I do not regret for a minute hitting the "Buy" button on mine!

Try not to do that - think about buying something out of passion before you think twice - all collectors have done it - a lot. And there is always someone who will buy from you. I'm just so glad you are going to go ahead and get the one you really really want! This is one special collectible, let me tell you! First one I see, will PM you the link.

Ah, we live and learn. If I'd had Ebay when I first found out about the big toddler sized one's, no telling what crazy damage I would have done to my bank balance! Back when I found out, I went everywhere looking for them and read the collector newspapers, etc., but they were so rare and so few people were parting with theirs, it was just impossible to find one for sale. Heck, even with Ebay and the international exposure, they are fairly few and far between. So I just didn't have the chance or I would have done the same thing. Once you get your $$ back down the road, because somebody will buy that one of yours, you will feel vindicated. You know, those last 2 on Ebay sold for very reasonable prices compared with just 18 mos. ago when I last looked for and priced them. This must be a good time to be a buyer!

I just wish someone would decide they don't like her anymore lol and list her on ebay before i spend all of my children's inheritance on clothes for her, i love little girls clothes, i bet i will be looking for a while before she shows up

You too? I never had a daughter to buy frilly and fancy things for. What wasn't devoted to school, church and dog-related things of my son's childhood was spent going from practice to game to activities to raise money for his sport of the season, endless trips to sports shops to update equipment of all kinds, watching sports of all kinds on TV and celebratory meals and get-togethers and formal awards ceremonies of every kind. So I was frilly-challenged until I got into my hobby in the 80's and then I went nuts over big dolls and dressing them in girly things. Found I loved fancy party dresses and bows and ruffles - such a change. But I never really had the right fancy doll to dress up - none of the others, even Madame Alexander's Joanie, was fancy and cute enough to handle the fanciest things. Now that I have the doll that looks great in the fanciest of the fancy, I hope I don't go crazy and buy out every pageant dress and party dress in 2T size on Ebay!!! My big girl came from a collector who had 3 of them and decided to sell one to help make room because family is coming for a 2 week stay. She had to move her out quick and put her up at a price to sell quick and boy, she did. She said her 3rd one has "issues". So hopefully somebody who wants to sell one quick will put one up on Ebay for holiday money or extra room. A lot of collectors do have more than one. John Sonnier has many, many mint ones! He used to be the ultimate collector of them a few years back. All of his look like they just came out of the box and hardly a hair is out of place, still shiny and vinyl still usually pink. Must have spent a mint on them! Buy those books I told you about and you can see his. Amazing.

I wonder if i can find them on ebay or amazon bet i can..:)

I get addicted very easily to anything i like. i have so many collections but i enjoy hunting for different things...and that is what i have spent the day doing :)

Yes, I'm easily addicted to anything doll and involving getting cute things to dress them in or pose them with! Beats drugs and smoking addictions all to heck! Lots more fun and satisfying. Ha!

I just got back online for few minutes before going to bed. I am so glad to have my favorite picture of ST big and in color I set it as my desktop wallpaper. It is really big and so pretty. That red coat is just spectacular on her. I can't wait to get the book with that on the cover! Am so glad to find that book - it is very old and long out of print. I would never let myself have it before because I couldn't have stood to have it without any hope of getting an ST. Now I have her, I can have the book.
