I confess there's always snow somewhere up here, though you may have to spend the rest of the summer on a remote glacier.

I confess that i am not looking forward to this night of storms..it was just announced that we have a 8 out of 10 chance of a tornado hitting our area tonight :eek: all prayers are appreciated

I confess that our tornado sirens went off at midnight last night. I further confess that getting up and sleeping in the basement is not my favorite thing to do. Ouch.

I confess, please take care Lisa, that storm came thru Dallas and was a very strong storm. I wish we had basements in Texas but no homes have them, guess cause of the soil. We have tornado shelters. I confess, those tornado sirens are scary.

I confess.....This is a situation which I just do not understand.

During the time I spent in Texas I spent time in Grapevine near Dallas and Fort Worth.

I saw the damage and heart ache a twister caused and it is not a nice thing to see at all.

It did cross my mind at the time how few homes or work places actually had a shelter where people could take refuge when one of these lethal things hit.

Only one of the many houses we visited had a shelter the other people did not seem concerned about it at all.

Can any of you explain to this Englishman why every home does not have a storm shelter to protect people from a twister. ??

Surely it would save lives.

My thoughts are with you all, my god be with you and keep you safe.

I confess that it is a similar situation here in Florida with hurricanes. We cannot have basements here due to the water table :(

But most up north have basements ~ I think Texas may be an exception??

I am hoping Betty is ok...it is not like her not to post something in the morning. Hopefully we will hear from her and it just a power outage.

I confess I have been considering calling her but last time I over reacted and it was just a computer problem.

In my opinion, for what it is worth, in a situation like this I would call without hesitation.

Our friends are just so important to us and there is no harm thinking of them or even worrying over them.

As it is there is not enough love in this world it is sadly lacking and consideration for others is even more rare.

If I had the slightest concern for a loved one or friend I would call right away.

Only my opinion I don\'t intend to interfere sorry.
