My LuLu loves me. She lets me know that I am owned by her and she is owned by me. That makes me happy. |
Today was a good day. I got to spend the day with my mom, grandma, grandpa, aunt (mom's sister), and uncle (mom's brother). We're all really close. They'll be with us everyday until they (aunt and uncle) find jobs. :rolleyes: I hope they don't for a while. I enjoy having them around! :D I watched the Inauguration. I've never watched one before, so it was interesting. I helped my uncle with his computer and his cell phone, and will help some more tomorrow. And I helped my aunt find information to study before she goes to school in February. She's going to study to be a Phlebotomist (sp?), a person that draws blood and then studies it. Then, my tutor came for about two hours. We did some work to get my folders filled with work to prove that I am actually doing work. :rolleyes: The semester ends in four days... Then, it's all new classes. We also talked about other stuff. Just random, get-things-off-your-back type stuff. Yeah, today was a good day. :) |

Today was the first day we let Nikko ('bout 5mo old) off his leash. We found a nearby baseball diamond that is totally fenced in... it was great! Granted, it didn't go quite as well as we'd hoped (the final straw before we left was having to pry a piece of rabbit poop out of his mouth), but it was SOOOOOO wonderful to see him running around as he pleased, chasing after a ball we threw, totally free. He is so fast - and his legs are what, like 1/16 the size of ours or something crazy like that? What a teeny little miracle! Lauren & Nikko |
It is Valentine's Day...I found out today I passed my NCLEX today, officially making me a registered nurse. :) |
Today was a fantastic day.....I spent the day with my husband, children and very close friends (a.k.a. family). We ate, we drank, we exchanged gifts.....I can't ask for anything more. |

I talked to some of my friends from school yesterday night. That made me happy to get in touch with them again. :) |
It's Friday and I'm finally OFF WORK spending time with Cody and Chloe! That will make even the worst day better! |
Today is my day off, I found a $1000 treadmill at a store on clearance for $60 and a scale to weigh the dogs that is normally $120 for $20!! (no more going to the post office after hours to see how much they weigh!!!) |
My son woke up in a great mood this morning. I was tickling him and he was cracking up laughing. It was great seeing him so happy and laughing uncontrollable as soon as he woke up! |
Thanks for starting this amazing thread KimberlySRN! Mine is kinda long, but I'll try to shorten it...;) I'm a mobile groomer & on Fridays, I leave my car parked on a st & take the mobile van home. On Sat night, I decided to check up on my car since I got off a little early. As I approach my car...the front driver side window is WIDE OPEN!!:eek: I immediate look down on the floor...no shattered glass. I get off the van & as I'm walking to my car, I'm praying, 'please let everything be in there'. My alarm is still on & the door is locked. Everything is where it's supposed to be. I must've left the window open...but lucky me...nobody took anything! Very good day that was for me!:D |
