Great question! I beleive I was 7 when I started to notice it. I guess it's tradition in my parents' small town to name your first boy after the father, and the first girl after the mother. My mother's side of the family would always call me Lupita, but my name is Susana. They also called my brother by a diff name. I thought it was funny. Now I just wish Lupita was my middle name so I could be like my mom...:p How Old Were You When...your car broke down and you were by yourself? What did you do? |
18. I was and remain a mechanical idiot, and my VW kept losing power on uphills while I was driving to Lake Tahoe. I didn't have a credit card or much money, but I must have looked pathetic enough for a service station guy to help me. He complimented me on having my own tools, even though I didn't know how to use them. Then he diagnosed the problem (clogged fuel filter), sold me the part for a few bucks and showed me how to fix it myself. What a nice guy. HOWYW you e-mailed someone over the Internet for the first time? Laugh, youngsters, if you must, but we didn't always have it. |

first - um and I think last - I was in 2nd grade and somehow when walking to school one winter day, got hooked up with 2 boys that decided to take the long way and play in some snow -- not only was I late to school, but we were soaking wet - all they way through the snow pants and everything. I can remember sitting in front of the heater vents to dry out :p HOWYW you first went to a Disney theme park? And which one? |
