I have my little neice and nephew over...so it is a kids meal kind of night....many, they only eat chicken (aurgh)...so I am doing some sort of baked chicken - either coating in flour and paprika or some sort of Shake-n-Bake type seasoning...... then, mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans.

Actually, they just informed me they wanted mac-n-cheese, so I will probably make that instead of potatoes and gravy!

I like chicken, but my DH hates it....that is pretty much the only thing his mother made when he was growing up.

He will eat the occassional chicken & rice or chicken & dumplings...maybe fried chicken every now and then...but that is about it! Oh, he did eat some BBQ chicken I cooked on the grill. ---okay, he will eat whatever I cook him, but I try to cook what he likes since he works hard. He is definitely a meat and potatoes type of guy....and to him, chicken is not meat!! HA!:p

Tuesday was my 15th wedding anniversary and my mother in law made us dinner. Yesterday i made a big thing of chicken salad for sandwiches and today is my sons 14th birthday and he picked out PIZZA for dinner! Tomorrow is leftover for sure!

Since I get tired of cooking sometimes I just cook a bunch of stuff and then don't have to do anything for a couple of days. Tell me about the spice coating. I love chicken.

I am so jealous! I love breakfast for dinner but my husband doesn't so I never make it. He got burned out on it as a child like Jenn's hubby with Chicken. Anytime he's out of town though... look out!:D

Not us. We usually eat out 7 nights a week :eek: but we are trying to cut back!!!

Were having fish tonight, not my first choice but my hubbys buddie is a fisherman and brought him some fresh perch, so guess who gets to cook it:rolleyes: oh well:) guess ill eat the fries and bread;)

Ooooh I love perch - I love fish in general though - but cleaning it Ick! :rolleyes:

Theres some left over - I can email it to you! The garlic bread was soooo good - I did something different, I roasted the garlic first -it gives it a much different taste! Yummy

I am starving ....trying to cook right now. We are having London Broil, Roasted Potatoes, Deviled Eggs & Rolls.
I get really tired of cooking!!!! I wish I had a live in Butler!!!!!lol

My DH will not eat breakfast for dinner!!! It drives me crazy!!! He loves breakfast but will not eat at night!!!! When I was growing up ....my mom did this a lot and it was like a special treat!!!

Same here - I used to love it when we did that! And we got to wear our pjs at the dinner table! I think I might do that for dinner tomorrow night..

I made penne pasta with this yummy pumpkin sauce, a big salad, and garlic cheesy bread.

I saw Rachel Ray make the pasta w/pumpkin on her show tonight, ran out and bought the stuff and threw it together. It was super cheap, really easy, and YUMMY!

I do, I love cooking though....I like to make up recipes and try new foods - not that it turns out great all the time LOL
