I was at my parents yesterday and the smoke was awful. We could see the smoke across the bay, but could not figure out where the fire was at first. When we heard it was in Orange we thought of you right away, very happy you are safe. :)

Another Fire Just Broke Out
 
Just heard that the 14 freeway is closed both ways, there is new fire broke out at Sand Canyon and Soledad :(
thought I would go to bed but guess not. Will stay up and listen on this. This is so scarey. These fires are so unpredictable.

We here in California are so grateful to the other states that are sending in man power and everything they are doing to help with getting these fires knocked down. They really have a difficult job with all these high winds.

I just heard on the local news that in Ventura the firefighters are now having to deal with over 100 mph winds.

I am so thankful that through the years I have been able to get out and weed wack, prune and keep the surroundings around us free from unwanted vegetation. It is a lot of work raking and keeping up but in the long run living in high fire area it is worth every bit of effort and time spent in doing the tasks that are much needed, it helps tremendously to do this.

We pray that this will all be under control soon, just heard on the news also that they expect 3/4 million people in San Diego that are evacuated from homes.

California needs everyones prayers.
PLEASE KEEP THE MUCH NEEDED PRAYERS GOING FOR ALL THOSE AFFECTED WITH THESE FIRE STORMS.

Corinne they still have Bouquet Canyon closed, it is
very smokey here all day.

We took Prairie Bea to the vets to get her shot and then came directly
back home.

We are very close to the areas that burnt.

Our prayers are with all the many many people that have lost their homes and those that were evacutated, praying for all the firemen and those helping to put these out.

Off to bed here shortly, much sleep to get caught up on.

It is so good to see you back in YT, we sure missed you and have kept you in our prayers that all was well.

Corinne the little dress that you had sent is darling and not only did DollieDae get to wear it but now Prairie Bea will be able to:) Thank you again so much for sending it to us.

Thank you to everyone praying for California & the brave Fire Fighters.

Patti, I'm so happy to hear you & Jack are safe. Yes the smoke is very thick and I haven't let the girls out since Sunday - I think they are going stir crazy!

I'm glad you are getting more use of the dress - It is soooooo cute!

Here are some photos to show how bad the smoke has been in Orange County... Today the winds change and is blowing from the ocean towards inland - saw blue skies for the first time since Sunday!
