My lucky sister
 

I am lucky enough to be living where I do which is in Malibu, California. It's very VERY nice! I've been living here for about six years now. I've been starstruck from the first time I saw the movie Grease. I was twelve or thirteen then. My dream after I saw Grease a few thousand times was to move to Hollywood.

As you can see, I never made it to Hollywood. Now that I've been there seven times, it isn't "all that" that they make it out to be. I took a real trip,a road trip to California the second we graduated from high school with my five friends, no parents. My one friend who I always envied, her dad was a Hollywood movie producer! I was so happy to be finally going.

When I thought of California when I was a kid, I thought you'd be walking down a street and run into Olivia Newton-John or John Stamos! Or that was my dream, to meet Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta.

I've been in California for twenty years now and I've met a lot of stars, not Olivia and John though :( I met Reese Witherspoon, Johnny Depp,Amanda Bynes, all today's hit people. My daughter was estatic to meet Johnny Depp (so was I)

My lucky older sister works in the studios, recording. She works with the sound board. Now heres the thing. She's eleven years older then me. She recording three of Olivia's albums, Olivia Newton-John:Gold, Making A Good Thing Better and Physical! I was so jealous when she was recording Physical in 1981, I was fifteen and when she told me she was going to be recording for about two weeks, I begged my mother to send me to L.A. for three days, she was very hesitant, but I got to go!

Well, I didn't see her at ALL. I came too early. I had misheard my sister. She meant, she would be recording next week. So it was a waste of three days.

If anyone on here is an Olivia fan, John Travolta fan or Grease fan, contact me! If you have met Olivia or John, you are SO lucky, it has been my life long dream to meet either one of them or both. I'm still trying.....

As of now, my dreams will have to wait for two more years until my last kid moves out and goes to college. Then I'll play stalker! lol. Or Ill get my sister to hook me up with Olivia, she has Christmas album coming out. Yipeee! Right now, my kids AND dogs are my #1 concerns, especially Bella, aka Miss Fatso whose pregnant! Did anyone know that name Bella means "beautiful" in Italian? My little Bella is beautiful, in a pregnant way. Cody, I have no clue what his name means. He's my daughter's dog, she named him after the smart twin on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. Savannah is named after the beautiful African savannah that my husband and I were two years ago and decided to name of next Yorkie, Savannah. Wow am I off topic! That's what this section is for!

I dont know....I guess I just think celebrities are just regular people... I mean, I love to watch E News and all that but there's not a celebrity I'd just go out and stalk because they're just a person like the rest of us. Plus, I'm sure they get tired of all the attention they get and people trying to track them down all the time. If I was ever somewhere and happened to meet a celebrity then great but I'm not going to go out looking for one. And if I did meet a celebrity I would just act like i was meeting anybody else for the first time...I just might know a little more about the celebrity. I don't understand the people that freak out and scream and faint when they meet a celebrity. Does Olivia Newton John even live in LA?

Olivia has a home in Austrailia too, and John lives in FL. I hope you get to meet them some day. I've only met, John Wayne, Michael Douglas, Ann Margret (all three in Madrid back in 1963 or 64) and Alan Jackson.

It's warm year round which is between 70-80 degrees. It was smoggy when I first moved there. Malibu is a beach. Malibu Beach, anyone?

It doesn't rain that much. Nothing really is going on, I wouldn't know because I'm not a celebrity! I take Cody, Savannah and Bella for walks along the beautiful beach, they love it! The sport out here is surfing. I don't surf, but my sons and daughter do.

My neighbors
 

I'm sandwiched between two other houses. To my right, is an elderly couple who love my kids & dogs, they're very nice. To my left, they are another story. It's a family alright. The woman HATES my dogs, says they yap too much. Little dogs bark a lot, I do know that. My dogs do bark, not excessivley though. She called Animal Control when my dog Cody got out once. She's a pain. Her husband is a scientist and have no kids. I don't like them. At all.

VERY confusing. Malibu NEVER gets smog unless you meant you lived somewhere else first. Second ~ Malibu has HUGE fires right now, I'm surprised you still have power. If I was you, I would not be taking my dogs out for a walk in all that smoke, it's hard on their little lungs. :cool:

So true If she infact does Live there I would not think she would have power at all.

There is not one star I would go out of the way to meet..not even one I care to meet..Im not a huge tv or movie fan..I like animal planet and disney lol..im a big kid at heart!! Id get a bigger kick out of meeting Jane Goodall or some of the ER vets on animal planet..

i was reading that yesterday and i sat and watche dthe news and i seen all the fires i remebered her saying nothing much was going on and i sat in bed thinking like uhhhhh ok there are fires and such going on and shes like not even ackowleding it i mean i would be like omg guys my city is on fire

but anyway its bad to they are recruiting our guys the kern county fire depts to help fight

and i heard that the malibu castle was burned to the ground and it was in escrow and set to be walked through wedneday and it was on sale for aprrox i think they said 17 million

omg i liked cried for those people
