So what do YOU do for a living? What is everyone's careers?:) If you could do it over, would you be doing what you are doing or would you do something else? |
I wouldn't say I have a career yet (just graduated from college)...but I work at a elementary school in the office. I do all the records/attendance/communication with parents and all the fun stuff that keeps the school running. I have been here for 2 years now and can't decide if I am ready to move on or not (depends on the day LOL). I really love what I do, although I hate the money!! I haven't decided what I want to do as far as a career, other than I would LOVE to be a dog handler full time!! Right now, I handle part time, but I would love to do as my career!! Getting your name out there is the hardest part, but I love going to shows and being in the ring!! |
I just recently graduated from USF, so I don't really have a career yet. I majored in Psych, so I'm still deciding what to do with it. Right now I am a Branch Administrator in charge of 2 office, but in a month or so I will be handling 3 offices. I don't want to do this forever, but at least I'm getting experience and I've got my foot in the door with a multimillion $ company. I plan on going to grad school once I figure things out. :) |
I'm currently in cosmetology school and I graduate in July of 08. I've always wanted to do cosmetology, I just can't wait until I'm finished with school. |

Well im in my 3rd year of college right now but I plan to go to Med school and become a Dermatologist. Those are my 'plans' but whatever God has in store for me is what I'll do:) |
I work in a private home taking care of 2 elderly ladies. Both of them have Alzhmiers. I work 6-7 days. I love what I do but it can be very stressfull. |
Ive been a stay at home Mom for many years now. My Husband has a courier company and I am going to start driving for him 3 days a week. I also do his billing. I cant wait to have the extra money that is all mine |
I have been a stay at home wife and mother for the past 13 years. I have just recently started going back to school myself. I plan on attending law school and becoming a civil rights attorney. :D |
I am a nurse. I do ortho trauma. HMMM a new career? I have owned a few difference businesses with my husband. Maybe have a business that took care of itself so I could stay home and play with Bella...:p just kidding. I would love to have a business where Bella could go to work with me..maybe a pet boutique.. does that sound better <snicker>...lol |
I'm a cost accountant and I work for an alarm security company. I get bored at times, so YT helps me make my day better :) . I do handpainted plaques at home, I would like to expand my business, so I can do this after I have kids and stay home for a few years :) |
Right now i'm a professional college student who nannies and dogsits part time. I graduate in december and plan to get a management job somewhere, hopefully retail orientented. My plans are to one day own my own pet boutique or marry a rich man and have babies and be a stay at home mom. |
I am an application developer. I take out-of-the-box software and customize for in company use. Like a company makes a software (like peoplesoft) and they make it generic yet customizable so they can market it to many different companies. Then in house programmers (application developers) develop customizations to that software, based on how they run their business so it works for them. Thats what I do! if you followed that. In Jan, Im going back to college though nights .. I have 11 classes to do for my bach degree in business management, then Im going to try to start my own business. I need partners and an idea.. anyone?? anyone?? :) |
now...I own a property management company, managing single family rental homes. what i would like to be doing.... I want to own a doggie spa/bed and bath/day care place :) one day!!! |

I LOVE my job ..... I am a school teacher ... and if I had it to do all over again, I'd choose to be .... a school teacher!!! I just love children and watching them grow And when they come back to visit after they have graduated, it just makes me so happy to see how well they are doing ... in most cases.... Gratifying, just gratifying .... I thank my mom everyday for her great guidance and support!!!! I also have a law degree ... but I much prefer teaching. |
I am a civil defense attorney. If I had to pick another career it would be to be a member of someone's entourages, you know the professional celebrity friends that do not seem to do anything! ;) |
I go to art school. My major is Advertising. I don't work. Thank god I have generous parents. :p |

I am an animal control officer. I do animal control and work at the shelter. I have been doing that for 3 years. I like the shelter work better, working with the animals, not the public though, that sucks. I am sick of hearing excuses why people turn there animals in or let their dog run at large. One lady brought her kitten in because he didn't run to meet her at the door when she got home. What really bugs me is people saying their dog is not fxed because it likes having sex. Or they need to experience being a mother. I want those people to go to really busy shelters with high euthanasia rates and have to watch animals put down. Thank goodness we are small and rarely put dogs down and that is just for being too aggressive. |

i am a customer service rep and work just outside of jfk international airport for a huge freight forwarder company for almost 20 years, and i 5 more years, im outta here!!!!!!! i will retire and do what ever i please yay!!! |
I have a degree in English and taught high school English before having my daughter 10 years ago. For the past 10 years I have been a stay at home mom for my 2 daughters and LOVE it! I definitely wouldn't change a thing, even if I could! :) |
I have been a high school teacher for 21 years. On most days, I really love what I do. :) Some days are very stressful, but aren't they for most people? |
Well before I had my first son i was a day care provider for the YMCA. I stayed at home with my four boy's for the past 14 years and just last year i started to do in home day care for my friends 2 girls. I was county certified just for her girls! I like doing what I do, I tolerate little kids better then I can tolerate an adult being rude, kids are just learning , the adult should know better, if you know what I mean? I would not mind having a pottery studio where people can paint and you bake it for them in the kilim. I love painting and working with clay. Or having my own dog boutique, I have looked around and it's a fair drive to the nearest one to were I live. I just brought this up to my husband, only because I want to go for a drive to go check out a few for research, and a little shopping wouldn't hurt none ;) |
