Here's what I think...if anyone has any other ideas, let's hear them!

Shana is due January 4th. So we need to set a date sometime in December...preferrably before Christmas. Shana says any day is good for her.

I know Shana....and I think that if y'all sent the gifts to her, she'd be tempted to "take a peek" beforehand...so I'm suggesting that maybe you send them to me.

I THINK I can do video but I'm not sure. I just got my camera as a gift....it's a digital camcorder, but still uses tape and does not have a memory card, so I'm still not sure how to transfer to my computer. We might have to do regular pics if that's ok. But I PROMISE to try to find out how to do it with video. If anyone has one like that, please let me know what you do.

Shana's having a girl - Tessa Ann
She's registered at Babies R Us, Target, and Wal-Mart
Her full name is Shana Wilkerson and she's in Ft Worth, TX

Thanks Sadie's mom! I was going to volunteer to try and take charge but it sure is more practical if you do.

Here are my thoughts...I think we should set a date first week in december sometime since babies can come early.

I think another thread should be started as the "invitation" with all the info. people will need. Shana said she didn't get a lot of clothes, diapers, wipes, toiletries etc. at her other showers. So that should probably be mentioned too. If people don't have time or want to spend money on shipping items, maybe the option of donating to a paypal account to put toward the purchase of a gift card at one of her registries should be offered.

About the video camera, i just bought a digital camera that happens to take video as well. Do you or Shana have a camera like that?

Good idea about the donating to a paypal account to get a gift card, etc. Since that time of year gets hectic, I think people would be very likely to hit a few buttons and donate and then Shana will be able to get exactly what she wants---even if it is when the baby is a little older. I remember having tons of baby stuff and then having to go buy a bunch of stuff when they were around 6 months!

I totally agree. It's so hectic right now!

I also was thinking about how much money can be saved on shipping stuff. I mean if you want to get her diapers, you don't want to ship those! LOL Donating that money to the gift card is so much better in that situation.

Mine does do video, but only short videos (only 30 seconds or so I think)...I'd rather try the camcorder if I can.
