Would you do this for me?
 
My mom was recently diagnosed with cancer. I am an active member of 4womentalk (sister site to YT) and the ladies there have been super supportive. One of them made THIS SITE for people to leave encouraging comments for my mom and I was hoping to have it completely filled up by the time she signs onto the internet again. She had her first chemo treatment today and we bought her a wig and some other supplies she'll be needing, so the reality of the situation is really hitting hard now. If you could just leave her a supporting and encouraging message on the candle site, I would be VERY VERY grateful! I want so badly for her to know that people are thinking of her and praying for her during this difficult time. Thanks so much in advance!

And if you'd like to know, her name is Debbie and her username on 4WT is Forgivenmom5. There are threads there for her if you'd like to add to them. She just doesn't come here because she has a maltese and not a yorkie.

I'm so sorry about your Mom. I lit a candle for her. Do you know when she'll be on the internet again? I'm just wondering because the candles only stay lit for 48 hrs so if she isn't going to be on for a while we'll have to remember to re-light our candles for her. She'll be in my prayers.

Thanks so much Mindy!!! I can't say for sure when she will be on, but I'm fairly certain she'll check 4wt within the next 48 hours and they posted the link for her there. If she hasn't signed on by tomorrow night, I'll drop a few hints that she should sign on, and soon. lol. ;)

Monday, you should be able to click on any of the candles that are not lit and then just follow the instruction. Thank you for you thoughts and your kindness.

I'm so sorry you have been through this, whether you went through this personally or if it was someone you know. It's very difficult to watch a loved one suffer so much and to have to wonder if they'll be there in future... I am trying so hard to stay positive, but sometimes I come home and all I can do is just cry. I keep thinking why, WHY did this have to happen to my mom when she is one of the nicest, kindest, and most compassionate people I've ever known. It just doesn't seem fair. I'd more than gladly take her place if I could...

Thanks everyone for your support! We have 40 candles now. (WOW!) This will mean so much to Mom when she sees it!!! She *almost* signed in last night, but then fell asleep, so I'm sure she'll be on first thing when she gets home from work today. (Yes, she still insists on working...)

the treatment heals her.
I have lost several family member's to cancer so I know how
hard this must be on you as well.
