My hysteryctomy is scheduled. For october 19th and I am scared to death. I am have a total hysteryctomy ovaries and all due to severe endometriosis. Im soo scared. my uterus is now binded to different parts of my body which requires a more intrusive operation. :( |
I will be thinking of you. I had mine several years ago, and I must say it was the best thing I ever did. I hope the surgery goes well. DON'T DRIVE OR DO ANYTHING STRENOUS FOR 5 WEEKS, they tell you this for a reason although so many of us don't listen  It does pay in the long run. Good Luck. |
i can relate to you being scared i put mine off for 3 yrs and went and got 3 diff opinions but all 3 doctors told me the same.i ended up having mine 2 yrs ago and i have to tell you its the best thing i ever did i wished i wouldnt have put it off for so long.the surgery it self wasnt bad at all i was only in the hospital one day and i walked out feeling great.if you trust your doc and he has a good rep you will be fine and im sure you will be happy once its over with i sure was.so good luck hang in there.please keep us posted after you have it done. |
I'll be thinking of you, and wishing you a smooth surgery and a fast recovery! you're in our thoughts and prayers. |
this is my 3rd opinion also. I have put it off for years. i am so scared but ready to be done with the pain. No more feeling Like im having a baby every month. |
ohhh good luck. The doctors have told me I need to do this. I think I only have mild endometriosis but have a strong family history of ovarian cancer so they want me to have a full hysterectomy too. I'm not looking forward to it for a bunch of reasons besides the obvious. Good luck and please keep us posted. :( |
I will keep you in my prayers. |
Please don't be afraid. They'll take good care of you. Just think about how good you're going to feel after it's over and after your recovery. |
I will keep you in my thoughts. Many people have to have this procedure, including my sister at 21 years old, so it is like an old hat for your doctors. You have nothing to worry about, and even if you are in pain afterward, think about how much better you will feel once it is all over. I am sure it is the best thing for you. Take advantage of ALL of the recooperation time! Think of it as a mandatory vacation, how can you complain about that?? And you will have fuzzy little ones to keep you company! I hope you look on the bright side and are happy about what you have to do. Many prayers and well wishes! |
...I'll be praying for you too......for healing and for peace so you won't be so scared............ |

Prayers are coming you way. Ask them to give you something for gas while their doing the surgery. You'll be a lot more comfortable when it's over. |
Bless your heart. I will keep you in my prayers. It was the BEST thing I ever did and I am sure you will eventually feel the same way. As someone else said, do what the dr says and don't try to get out too soon, even when you feel like it:rolleyes: Some of us have a really hard time listening:D Good luck. Patty |
I will be praying everthing goes good and a fast recovery. |
