should I cut it???
 

almost a year ago, I cut my hair really short. I loved it. but hubby wanted me to grow it out...and i couldn't seem to get anyone to cut it exactly how i wanted it.

but...i think my regular hairdresser has an idea of what I wanted so I am thinking of cutting it again. it has grown quite a bit...but i am thinking of cutting it again...what do you think?

here is me now...(pic #1) my hair underneath is REALLY dark and my hair on top is blonde...so in the pic it almost looks like my hair is SUPER short :) it is shoulder length

and then here are a few pics of me with my hair short (different colors LOL)....which do you like best? in these pics, the back is super short...almost to my hair line and kinda stacked in the back...the front is longer. gives the illusion of it being longer than it really is :) If I cut it again, I want it to have a more drastic slope to it, and I don't want so much of the front to be so long....I want it more dramatic

one of the reasons i am thinking of cutting it is because i NEVER wear my hair down anymore. the only reason it is down now is because i went out to dinner and wanted it to look "nice". but honestly, it is a pain in the butt to fix and rarely looks very good. the short cut is easier. but what do you guys think looks best???

I think the last picture is so very cute!!!!! The older I get, the shorter I want it!!!!!!!!!!!LOL Its always amazing that men always want long hair, but its not them that have to put up with it!!!LOL Lynn

BTW the first is a no in my book it makes you look older and you are so young the second one is ok but a little dark but the last one is a great picture :)

ah :) thanks :) I like the 2nd one cuz my skin looks so much clearer when my hair is dark. but the 3rd is one of my all time fave pics of me :)

The older I get the shorter mine seems to get. When it gets longer I look frumpy.

I like pic #3. You could flip it more for a different look. of have layers that flip in the back.

The last one gets my vote!

I love the hairstyle in the last picture! I say go for it! It seems men always go for the long hair look, but like someone else said, they don't have to fix it!

Are you going for the Victoria Beckham cut? If you don't have problem with frizz go for it, but you'll need to get cuts more often to maintain.

I know most like the 3rd best BUT i like the 2nd best!! :thumbup: :D You look very young and darker hair looks great on you

#3 for me:thumbup: . You look great in the other 2 also, but I really like the lighter color - maybe put in some super hi-lites and low-lites. Whatever you decide, you have the looks to make it it work:) .

yeah, that is the cut I am hoping for. I can usually keep the frizz under control. And as of now, my hair appointments are set for every 4-5 weeks so I think I should be ok. when it was short last time, I went every 6 weeks and it was ok.

I was going to ask about the victoria cut! I have always wanted it..its so cute. But I could never go that short! My hair is way too big for that! I would look like I have an afro! Haha! I think you shoulD GO FOR IT! I think it would look good darker with some blonde highlgihts, though :) I can't wait to see it!

I like pic 3:) I keep my hair shorter now to, i use to have long hair up untill about a yr ago, now that its shorter, I like it much better, not that being in my 40s now has anything to do with it:rolleyes: lol;)

i have short hair and i love it! its stacked in the back and goes a little longer to the front of my face.

I think darker colors for winter time and then brighten it up in spring! I think that dark hair would really make your eyes pop. But EVERYONE is RAVING about the Victoria Beckham, so by Christmas I bet TONS of people will have the same cut. I really like TxGurl's cut. Go shorter! I always end up wearing a ponytail when my hair is long enough for it, and it isn't very flattering! And lots of girls end up growing out their hair for their man, do what YOU want! I'm sure it will be really cute!

I tried short hair a few years back and would love the VB cut, but when I had a short bob I ended up with mushroom head:(

Oh yes, I think you should cut it!
In your last picture you look so pretty, not everyone can wear long and short hair like you!
I dont think your hun will mind much after you do with all the extra self confidence and compliments you are going to get, he\'s just going to be busy keeping the boys away!
Go for it, its just hair it will grow back!
