My Dad passed away
 
He fought hard but the cancer was just to much. He is no longer in pain. He is at peace. If y ou would like to read you can go here. His name is Basil Mckinney.

I'm so sorry about your dad. I just read about him on the website and he sounds like he was loved by a lot of people. I also read that he became a Christian in January! That must be comforting during this hard time. You and your family will be in our prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you can find peace in knowing he is no longer in pain. I went through this with my Granny (she was like a mother to me) and the only way I was able to get through it was knowing that she didn't hurt anymore. It is still very hard, and I will be praying for your peace as well. we are all here if you need us....

I am so sorry to hear about you losing your dad. I know how hard that is, my dad passed away 7 years ago. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers that you can have the strength, comfort and peace you need to get you through this time.

Dad's are so special and I loved mine with all my heart. I still talk to him if not out loud and ask what he would do in a situation and it always helps me to try to do the right thing.

Wish we all could be with you but we are in spirit and don't forget if you need a good cry even months and months from now, we are here.

My condolences and warm hugs to you and prayers will go out for all family and friends. I signed the guest book, I hope you don't mind. I just feel close to those in WV. as I was born and raised in Charleston WV. as were my parents and grandparents.
I had grandparents who lived in Shrewsbury WV. and was wondering if Rhesa & Melissa had family that the town was named for. Also I have a half brother named Billy Ray Maynard. Kind of wondering if maybe he was related to Jesse.
You just never know how people can be connected.
