Leaving for Disney world in two days
 
I am leaving for Orlando on Saturday Morning and wont be back for 15 days. I am really looking forward to getting away. We are going with 7 other people including My Mother in Law so it should be interesting. Pray for me that I dont go crazy. My Husbands Brother is keeping Chachi and Jewels this time so I am a little nervous but we have left him detailed instructions. I probably will only be able to check up on the forum a couple of times for a short period because you have to pay for you internet so we will only be conecting it to catch up on our emails a couple of times. Anyway looking forward to going and will catch up to everyone when I get back

Wow! Have a blast! It is always nice to get away (even if your mother-in-law is going to be there!) ;) Disneyworld is definitely a fun place and I'm sure your babies will do great with your husband's brother! :)

Can't wait to hear all about it!

Have a wonderful trip Chachi - you will be missed and after just having someone (Jamie - yorkiecrazy) watch my girls for the weekend while I was in Michigan - I can tell you your babies will be JUST FINE if your Husbands Brother is anything like Jamie and her husband - I had NO worries about my girls ...

well a few but only cause I'm the mom ;)

have fun! Disney is great. My 68 yr old mom and her sister are going down to Disney in MidOctober by themselves without any kids or grandkids.

We just got back and did the whole disney thing. My suggestion is to take a comfy broken in pair of shoes and lots of money.....everything is pricey. Going with kids oh boy. But it was worth the experience for our family. The kids had a blast.

Hope you have fun! Where are you staying? I hope the weather is good for you! I read on the Disney boards that the storms/rain have been really bad lately.

I just got back from a week at Disney a few weeks ago and will be returning for another week the week before Christmas.

how exciting!!! I loooove Disney :) I hope you have an awesome time. 2 weeks??? wow, that's great! that way you can take your time, enjoy, and relax, you don't have to rush to see everything, you have a lot of time! Where are you staying? I love Disney resorts :)

Thanks we are staying at the Pop Century. I hope it doesnt rain. I know it has been this week. But we have rain ponchos and are ready for it if it does

well, it's gonna rain sometime in a two week period, it's Florida! but you know, it rains and then sunshine, you can just wait in the hotel till it stops, it's not raining everyday all day.

I haven't been to Disney World since the year it opened. I watched it being built near my home. Lucky you...........a whole 15 days!!! Goodness. Well have a great time........go on the tours and rides that your mother-in-law wouldn't. :D Sorry, that just slipped out!! :rolleyes: Hope to see lots of great pictures when you get back. :D

My Mother in Law really isnt too bad. Sometimes she trys to monopolize the conversation or sometimes if you dont use her suggestions she gets offended. I am used to her though and enjoy being around her. This is her first time going to Disneyworld wth My Daughter her grandchild so I know shes going to have a good time

My only advice...take light jackets for everyone too! We only took shorts and tee shirts and froze our hineys off with the cold rain!! We ended up shopping for jackets and pants while we were there.

Thanks I packed one pair of pants and long sleeve shirt for all of us. We are bound to get some rain. I am getting excited we leave tomorrow morning

i have stayed there but at the movie resort. i think we stayed in Fantasia. I took the two grandkids ages six and three and we had a blast. ate nearly every meal in the food court. They have great sit down breakfast lunch and dinner meals. i was surprised. you just go around and get what you want and find a place to sit. Dinner was always meat, vegetables, dessert a, sald and drink for about nine to twelve bucks. you can see all the menus for the whole disney parks and food court and cafes at www.allears.net

We have the free mealplan so we will be eating good. It includes one counter service and one table service everyday for all of us. I am familar with and we use that website. I think My Husband knows every Disney website there is. He always does all the research and planning for our trips

Will you be down there for the Epcot Anniversary celebration? I think it is October 1st. I have 2 sons that live down there (in college) My oldest works at Disney. He has already scheduled that day off so he can go to Epcot for the celebration with all his friends! He did say this morning that they have been getting more rain than usual, but since you are going to be there 2 weeks I'm sure you'll have plenty of nice weather also! Enjoy your trip!

If you go by the UK in Epcot and see a gal by the name of Tara(some times she goes by TaraLynn) from WA that is my daughter. She is working for Disney and going to school at UCF. She is not out in the public eye as much as she once was. She now is doing accounting stuff at the United Kingdom for the Rose and Crown restaurant.

But if you see tell her HI!! :p
