Dreams My x who I dated for around 2 years, this was like 4 years ago maybe 5. We were really close and the break up was HORRIBLE. But every now and then I dream about him! I haven't seen him in probably 3 years, I look at his myspace sometimes, but I don't know why I am dreaming about him :confused: I want to tell Josh, my current BF but I know he would flip, because he already doesn't like this guy because of personal reasonings.. Why am I dreaming about Him???? |
Well, I'm no dream expert, but I wouldn't worry about it and probably wouldn't tell your current bf since it's harmless...unless you still have feelings for your ex. I dream about people that I haven't seen in YEARS, including ex-boyfriends from when I was a teenager. I have no idea where the dreams come from because it's not like I sit and think of these people. But, who knows what causes us to dream the things we do.:confused: |
Maybe cause your break-up was so horrible, you prob. didn't get the proper closure from him...that's why i would think so. I could be wrong tho cause im not an expert:rolleyes: I have dreamt about my x's before but that was before i was with my current bf and they were just weird, like unexplainable and once, idk hard to explain |
I don't have any feelings for him, except in my dreams!!! I mean they are "sexual" dreams.... |

Look up key things in your dreams! It might not be a dream about your ex at all actually! It could be about something going on in your life right now that your subconscience is linking to the memories about your ex bc whatever is going on now is making you feel like you did when you were with your ex! (I don't mean your current bf, I mean ANYTHING in your life) Dreams are sooooo interesting! I'd love to learn more about what they mean! I have VERY vivid dreams fairly often! :) So look up key things like colors you remember and other objects or people in your dream, you might be able to formulate what your dream was meant to mean! Let us know!! |

No matter what I think about before bed I go to bed, if I'm gonna dream it will be over it. No matter who it is. Good or bad. Sometimes I wake up and think...what was that all about? LOL |

Could be an unfilled need of some type (nonsexual) or it could representative of an unresolved conflict in your life. I wouldn't speak with your bf about the dream itself. It's weird about dreams. My sister and I watched Charlotte's Web, and she had a nightmare about rats! Well, I have been divorced from my first husband for 14 years and re-married for 11, but I have more dreams about my ex than about my present husband. I don't know why. But we were married for 18 years and have two kids. Maybe there are triggers. I wish I knew where dreams come from and why we dream them. I would be very interested.:confused: |
I have collected a few dream books over the past years> I find dreams fascinating and I love to look up meanings all the time for my friends and family when the wonder about WHY they keep having such worrisome dreams, so I will tell you what I have read in a few about sexual dreams and hopefully it will ease your mind a little. Having sexual relations in a dream OR seeing others having sex may indicate repressed desires for physical or emotional love. As well as the urge to bond and also to create new life. Sexuality is too complex and confused of an area of modern life to capture it's broad range of possible meanings. My guess is that you wish you were able to be with Josh more then you get to.And the dreams have nothing to do with the ex at all! I had dreams about my ex alot too and in real life I am not intrested in him at all anymore, not feelings what so ever. The other night i had a dream that me and my fiance invited him and his present girlfriend? wife? no clue I dont even know if he is with anyone lol we invited them over for dinner and we were all sitting around talking about the past. What the heck could that mean lol As for the sexual dreams..... LOL i have had sex with so many people that I know in my dreams, most of them I would NEVER go near in real life. And in these dreams I can remember thinking to myself while dreaming why the heck am I with this person.... eww. Sometimes I wonder if my bizzare dreams have anything to do with the meds I take right before I go to bed. Last night I had a dream I was competing in a cleavage contest, which I won by the way lol What the heck could this one mean? Im afraid to ask my shrink if he has any clue what these dreams mean, Im afraid to find out how insane I really am lol I wouldnt tell your BF about these dreams like others said this could open a whole new can of worms |
Dreams are really weird. Sex dreams have nothing to do with sex just like most death dreams have nothing to do with death. I had a dream for almost three years, They was not the same dreams but the little boy in the dreams was always with me, Blond hair blue eyes and I was always holding his hand, This was before I had any Grandbabys, I now have 2 and one on the way. well any ways this little boy looked just like my oldest daughter and so I use to joke and tell her I dreamed about your little boy in my dreams again. My kids now grown was always in my dreams too at the same time this little boy was. well The dreams kept up and one day some Lady handed my son a picture and said this is your son, My son brought the picture home and showed me and it was the little boy in my dreams. I have never dreamed about that little boy again. I think my dreams was telling me he was out there. |
