Pet Peeves?? What is your pet peeve?? I think I have a few, but here is one that happened today.. I hate it when you have a magazine subscription and when it comes in the mail, your name and address is on a white label that is plastered over the front cover of the magazine and it covers the "highlights" about what articles are in the magazine! ugh :mad: :animal-pa |
Bad drivers! That's my pet peeve. I cannot stand people that drive with their turn signals on...and never turn. Also, people that drive 10 miles under the speed limit upset me...especially when they're driving in the fast lane. :rolleyes: |
People that wear too much perfume. I am allergic to a lot of artificial scents, and sometimes have to move away from people or sit somewhere else in a class or some places like that. Not everyone likes the perfume as much as you do! |
People who call YOU and then ask, "Who's this?" in a tone of voice that makes you feel guilty for answering your own phone! What's up with that?? :confused: |

When i am walking really fast somewhere and all of a sudden someone gets in my way and is walking very slow, and i can't pass them cause they are taking up the whole space, ugh hate that! Happens a lot in NY! |
I have so many!! :D People who don't clean up after their dogs in public places, smokers who do so in places where its prohibited (don't make ME suffer because you need your fix), and rudeness, especially from workers at stores (when I'm being nice to you, don't take your anger, rudeness and whatever problems you have out on me. :)) just to name a few. :p |
Ooooh...where to begin?!? 1) Stupid drivers...specifically, those who use turn lanes as passing lanes, pass as many cars as they can and then cut over at the last minute.] 2) People who don't keep their dog/cat/pet up and just let them roam free. 3) People who are hypocrites--lecture you or think they are above you for one thing, then turn around and do the same thing themselves. |
Pet peeves: when people chew loudly/with their mouth open. when people chew gum likes cows. people who drive/walk slowly. people who insist they're right about something even when you KNOW they're wrong. self absorbed people. people who wear too much makeup. People with no respect for others. people who curse. smoking. I think that's all I've got for now haha. |

Oh, here is a major one for me: People who don't exercise their dogs. There is a girl in the apartment above us who has a puppy, a chocolate lab. That poor dog thunders around in that apartment, and is probably destructive, all because they won't walk her. It is a 50+ lb dog! The only time she goes out is to go to the bathroom in our front lawn, and they don't pick up after her! Not curbing your dog is a big one for me, too! And people who walk their dogs without leashes. It isn't safe for that poor dog! Why don't people realize that a dog is a responsibility? |
People who pull out in front of you and drive 10 miles an hours. When my daughter cooks and leaves the mess for me to clean up. Old people that give you the finger. |
What about when young people give you the finger? |

I can just imagine someone driving real slow in front of you and your straining your jaw thinking of ways to drive around them.:lol tears My PP is when someone say my name wrong. My name is Naja but everyone says it as if it is Naha because they think I'm spanish and the 'j' sounds like 'h' when you speak spanish... And then when they see my face they are like.. oh, you have a pretty name. Are you african? and i'm like just b/c i have a unique name and am black doesn't mean i'm african... this usually happened when I went to school and i met a new sub teacher or administrator (my school was about 65% hispanic so they assume I'm hispanic) so all of my friends would laugh. I'll smile but I think: Some type of friend to keep laughing at my name:( ...... But i understand. I have a unique name:) .... still pisses me of tho:p |
my biggest pet peeve is when people smack their food. UGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!! my husband is the WORST about it. and he shoves so much food in his mouth, his cheeks are about to POP. it kills me. he eats like he hasn't eaten in weeks. I tell him to slow down but he just doesn't get it. it's probably why he gains so much weight too!! |

I have two that drive me nuts: 1. When you ca't get the sticker off an item that you purchased. It just smears and comes off in pieces. I just hate it. Drives me nuts. 2. When a drives does not use his blinker's to make a turn and slams on the brakes when they get to the street they want to turn THEN puts on the blinkers. I want to get out of the car and slap then silly. |

I have a bunch! When people cut me off. When people cut me off, only to hit on their brakes and go 10 mph slower than me. People who want to cut in front of you at a light, just so they can get all the way to the other side. (couldn't have gotten to that lane a mile before????) When you miss a persons call and then call them right back and they don't answer. When I cook and nobody else washes the dishes. (I'm not a slave or a maid) When people drive with their turn signal on When people turn on their signal an then imediately cut in front of you (just because you turned it on, doesn't mean i've seen it in 1 second) When people try and steal my parking spot. When people pass an open parking spot and then try to back into your car just so they get the spot. (Sorry, don't think so... you pass it, it's mine) When people say they're gonna do something, but then never do it. (this one bugs me the most) |
I think all I need to do is say all of the above. I hate it when someone is driving right on my bumper. Now I'm a speed freak and I usually drive pretty fast so I KNOW that if I had to slam on my breaks that car would plow into me! Another think I hate is when someone asks you "What are you doing on Friday?" or "Are you busy?" If you want me to do something just ask me outright don't try to trick me into anything! |
