Isnt it funny how you can come up with a name, we liked Tess after watching Oceans Eleven. I actually think the full name we are going to use will be Tessa or Tesa Anne as it seem the full name needs an addional syllable when used with the short middle name but we will be calling her Tess or Tes for short. Too many descisions to make! lol

I like different too...my son is Tannar pronouned Tanner but Tannar....It's spelled wrong 90% of the time by others tho. :rolleyes:

Its a very cute name either way!

Don't worry about the weight it's all in how u carry it and ur carrying it well! ;)

Aww thanks! I actually took letters from mine and my husbands name and made up his name lol. I saved my baby the trouble and went simple with Kaleb lol but had to be different and spell it with a K and not a C

First off, you look great! If you gained 30lbs, it must be in your toes, b/c I can't see a thing! ;)

I also like Tess with the two ss. Tes looks like it's missing something.

I love them all.

The first time I had ever heard the name Tesa was back in 1997. This is sorta embarrassing, but oh well, I used to work (part time - on weekends) as a shot girl. Anyway, the company I worked for set me and this girl Tesa up together to always go up to Westchester NY to sell shots (which was about 1.5 hrs away). (I guess they knew we were nice and couldn't tell them no, like lots of other girls did).

Anyway, this girl Tesa was stunning, beautiful, unforgettable (obviously). She had blonde hair at the time and used to take time to put ringlets in it, but it looked sharp and her eyes, they were emerald green. I am in no way saying I was attracted to her, but she was absolutely stunning, and her name was Tesa. An unforgettable name.

I vote for Tess with the 2 S'S otherwise it could be pronounced tez. My daughters father wanted to name her Dallas, I named her Bailey. He didnt speak to me for 2 hrs at the hospital. Luckily, I was medicated enough I didnt care if he was speaking to me or not. Ha Ha! Its good u are working it out before hand!

Well my husband did come up with the name Tess but luckily I like it so we didnt have to argue over any other names. Although prior to him coming up with the name Tess, if it had been up to me I always liked nature type names like Savannah, Sierra, etc. My husband cant stand those names!:D So Im super glad he found a name we both liked:thumbup:

Actually since Kathryn V came in town and I ate at yummy resteraunts like the Cheesecake Factory & Roadhouse everyday for a week, I am almost positive I gained another 10lbs. My stretchy pants dont fit anymore :cry8: I need to go shopping! Im having to wear my husbands boxers around the house while I sew, lol.

I think 10lbs is in the belly area and I gurantee I gained 10 lbs in each of my thighs! I hate genetics! :D

My niece is Tessa Bela. I personally prefer the two S's and I think the parents should have used two L's in Bela but that's just me. Weird spellings are not cool IMHO.

Growing up with an unusual name kinda sucks coming from someone that has an off the wall name :p You can never get anything with your name on it. You know pencils and pens of the such and when you are in 2nd grade that, thats important:D

Texas Roadhouse is my new favorite resteraunt. I ate there when I went to visit my folks in August. Yum!!!!!!

I told my husband I defiently prefer Tess with 2 's'. Middle name will be Ann as this is both of our Mother's middle name and they both spell it the same way. So I think full name will be Tessa Ann but we will call her Tess :)
