Vma Good Or Bad????
 

I am watching the VMA's right now and as of right now I don't like it at all. Very disappointing. And did you guys see Britney's performance horrible.:thumbdown I thought for one second that she would be able to pull of a performance because she has generally been a good perfomance artist and always played the part but this just sucked really bad. She can't dance anymore and she didn't even try singing. I mean if you are going to lipsink at least try to make it realistic. I don't like the way every one is divided up and its so confusing. Ok this is just my open what do you guys thing

I watched for Britney (love the song.. hated the performance) and changed the channel. :)

it's horrible this year. i only watched for fall out boy and foo fighters, and that's over so now i'm going to bed. i thought it might actually be good this year but it was terrible. i saw britney's performance, her lip synching was terrible, so obvious and she didn't even try, but whatever. i never liked her anyway

I was hoping for the best when I heard Britney was performing. I just couldn't get over her lip synching. Everyone knows she does it, but it didn't even look like she was trying to keep up with her song or make it look like she was singing.

She didn't seem to put any effort into her dancing and the moves looked slow and almost like she was going to fall at times. She just looked almost embarassed or uncomfortable :(.

Not the best start to the show, but I did think the song was fun!

yeah her moves didnt look like they used to. She look like she was focusing too much that she didnt dance good and she forgot to move her lips to the song lol!!


everyone performing at the vma is lip syncing except the people in the little rooms lol

did you not see chris browns performance? he was definately lip syncing!

Yeah I know most who preform on the main stage are lipsynching but I just thought Britney looked so off. I didn't see the Chris Brown performance :)

Ok I just finished watching So far the best performances came from Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, and Nelly and Justin and 50 cent. Than it was Linkin Park and Chris Brown. Overall the show was the worst out of the rest I don't like how they go to all these different rooms.

Another thing that happened was kid rock punch Tommy Lee out???

I agree. I think her performance was terrible, even tho we all know she lipsyncs she seemed like she wasn't even trying and her moves weren't all that. :thumbdown :thumbdown

We thought it was awful!! Britany wasnt even dancing or singing at all! She looked like crap up there.
They could have picked the other performers a little better too.

I think Britney was terrible as well. I don't expect much from her these days though. I liked the Chris Brown part, I always enjoy his dancing. :)

does britney even know the words to her own song??? wow. i just can't believe she did such a horrible job. I watched the videos of her "warming up" and she did better than on her actual performance. i'm in shock. what a way to really smear your face in the mud, brit. oye. i was really hoping she would have some common sense and actually change her ways...guess not.

she used to be very talented. she has just let herself go. i guess some people just don't know when to throw in the towel...

i did not watch much of it...i don't really care for them these days. but this performance sure stands out. :(

She is over! She isn't gonna make a comeback she sucks! She doesn't care how she looks i think she seen herself in the moniter and then was like OMG what am i wearing lol. She is so tacky i swear On a big night like this you think she would be all done up well she wasn't and if you noticed Half of her fake acrylic nails were broke off I mean OMG atleast get your nails fixed if your going on national tv Geeze! She is a has been i have never liked her she had an audiance of kids and she came out in a white see through top with headlights out it was horrible and i lost all respect for her then. She is trash and she will always be trash. Sorry i am just tired of everyone feeling so sorry for her. She made her bed she was soooo desperate to get married and have kids that she didn't care who it was with and now she acts like she is burdened with it all. The preformance she put on was a joke last night she didn't even care and it truely was sad. The only thing i wil defend her on is the jokes Sarah Silverman made about her they were tacky and uncalled for espeacially about her kids.

I hated her outfit. She could have atleast put on a nice dress, not a bikini type thing! And yea her nails were bad :thumbdown

LOL they so were!! She could have dresses a lot better but that is who she really is trash and thats how she really dresses she fired the other manager she had that made her who she was but owell i'm sure she is in hiding now lol

Britney coul'dve done better. I recently heard that she knew about Sarah Silverman's so called jokes, and she was upset. If I knew someone was about to say that about my kids, I don't think I would've put my all into my performance either....well I probably would've not performed at all then! But Britney probably really wanted to, especially after her magazine interviews that she cancelled last minute and everything. You can tell she's still got it in her, but she didn't really even try yesterday.

I only saw bits and pieces of the show, but Chris Brown did really good dancing! His performance was awesome!

She had been partying for 3 days prior to this prefomance she was up till weee hours of the morning drinking and doing what ever else lol.

I agree that the jokes were cruel and uncalled for and i think sarah was totally out of line. but it shouldn't have affected her show she needed this fro credibility and it just showed how careless she is. I'm sorry if i am so blunt but i truely think she gets what she deserves here she had a shot to come back and she blew it. I really have no respect for a mother who is out partying all the time while her children are being raised by the nanny of the moment. She is a horrible mother as far as the parting and drugs are concerned.

She diserved this? I don't think anyone diserves to have their kids called mistakes and that their kids look like vaginas! :thumbdown

If people were making comments like that about your yorkies, would that not bother you? If someone made a rude comment like that about mine, of course I would be heated!

Her song is already a success, she's making her comeback, rather people want to believe it or not.

And please DO not say stuff you don't know about. She doesn't have a nanny, when she goes out, the kids are at Kevin's (who does have help with the kids, including her parents!) He was out in Vegas this weekend, when it was HIS weekend to have the kids! Remember they have split custody, and the days she does have the kids, she's not going out and partying. And drugs? Don't believe everything you read.

I'm not trying to be rude, so please don't take it that way. It's just getting really old when people say the same things about her, and they really don't know what their talking about..just what they read in OK, US Weekly or Instyle (I think that's the other tabloid). These magazines will type anything just to get a sale, like once I read "Britney's wearing contacts...the only reason is to hide her dialted pupils!" I mean come on! Then they always say " a source" or "a close personal friend" gave them the information, I'm sorry but if someones a close personal friend, they don't say stuff like that to magazines. Gotta watch what you read!



Anyways, on another topic...I can't believe that they had Kanye and 50cent present an award together..with all the tension between the two of them right now! You could tell..at first I was like "Are they cool now?" I guess not! Alls I got to say about that is I'm buying Kanye's CD tomarrow!!!

However i do believe she deserves the critisism and the harshness because she is in the lime light and she know how she should act in public she chooses to portrya herself as trash so she deserves the comments and scutiny. As far as the nanny remark your right i don't know personally sorry about that one!

Sorry, I mis-read it then. I still dont think though that it's right to say one deserves to be criticized when their not doing anything wrong. Yeah she's going to be, any celebrity or public figure will be, it kinda comes w/ the job..I just think the word "deserves" isn't the right word for it. I agree when you act a certain way, your going to be portrayed that way, but it's not like "oh she didn't brush her hair, she deserves to be criticized now". I see non-celebrity people every day at work, and well everywhere (I'm sure we all do, LOL) and some people go out looking trashy, some get dressed up just to get the mail, but you don't really here people making comments about that..unless their way over the line, like a girl who came into my work wearing a dress that was ABOVE her cheeks...

I think that Britney's performance last night was the last of her career. I don't see any hope for a comeback for her anymore.

I'll admit that I watched the VMAs only because I wanted to see Britney's performance. And I was secretly hoping that she would screw it up because her recent behavior has really made me dislike her and I think that she has brought a lot of things on herself. However, watching her perform last night made me feel really sorry for her. I could list everything wrong about her performance but if you saw it, then you already know.

I can't help but wonder if someone pushed her into this because she did not look like she wanted to do it. Why didn't someone step up and just say that she wasn't ready to do this. At the very least, why didn't someone tell her that her outfit was a terrrible choice and that it wasn't the least bit flattering. MTV should have pulled the plug on the whole thing when they saw the rehearsal, instead they used her to pull in the curious viewers like a sideshow freak. And it certainly didn't help matters that they zoomed in on those horrible hair extensions and kept cutting to the expressions on the crowd who were laughing or just looked plain stunned.

The song was okay, but didn't really have much in the way of lyrics (it was mostly just one word repeated over and over). I think that this is the end of her career and I actually feel sorry for her that she didn't have anyone who cared enough about her to stop this disaster from happening.

I "heard" that she fired her hair stylist right before the show and did her own hair but that is just something I read. Judging by her hair, it certainly seems as if that could be true. Again, if it is true, I think its just another one of those bad decisions she's been making a lot of lately.
