The media is really letting her have it. They have this clip of her saying "It's easy to stay out of trouble." Those OTHER girls just want to be in the spotlight...I guess Im just one of the GOOD ones" They play it every time they talk about her nudie pix. I only saw one, and it has disappeared now was there more than one?...I still am anxious to hear how it "leaked" out. Someone is really a rotten-you-know-what for giving it to the media. The press really built her up as "wholesome" last month when the sequel came out. Now they are beating her over the head with it. I hope this serves as a lesson to young girls... Dont take the nudie pix... they will come back to haunt you.

But she is one of the good ones. She's not going out to clubs every night in skimpy clothes, drinking underage, getting into fights, having car accidents, flashing her naked butt to everyone.... No one is perfect. So overall she is a wholesome girl. The picture was a private thing between her and her boyfriend

I agree! Growing up I had my role models, and Britney has been my idol since forever...but that doesn't mean I'm going to do everything she does. I'm older now, but even when I was younger I knew what was right and wrong. I think it boils down to the parents though. Yeah kids can have role models, but their parents need to teach them right from wrong and if there role model does something bad, the parents should talk to the kid about it. I don't think it's fair for people that just because they are in the public eye they have to worry about certain things because some kid might go and do it.

As for the pictures...that's why you never give out naked pictures of yourself! Maybe show your man or whatever, but make sure you have all copies of them!

OMG....this is horrible!!! I am watching High School Musical RIGHT NOW with my son and his friend!!! We have watched it so many times in the past few weeks.

I cannot help but think about how young she is and what a stupid mistake she has made. We have all been young and did stupid stuff but we all aren't famous like her. She seemed to have such a bright future ahead of her. Hopefully, she will recover from this. I hate to see her lose her entire career over something sooooo stupid!!! I think the media should leave her alone. To me this a private matter between her and her boyfriend. Its not like she did a photo shoot or hired some sleezy photographer to take nude photos of herself. From what I have seen the photos are completely innocent...intended for her boyfriend only.

People can say the same about Britney as to what you said about Vanessa though. Britney makes mistakes, but because she's famous she is all of a sudden such a bad person. Lindsey on the other hand...well I don't have respect for those who drive, get out of rehab only to get a DUI and have cocaine on them right after! I think it's sad for the kids that are young and look up to her to find out about this. I have 2 younger sisters 11 and 13 and they are growing up so fast, it's scary what influences kids lately. So, I can see if I was a parent, I would be upset about it. It's hard for kids to have good role models in current years it seems like. I sound so old, and I'm only 24 LOL.

But coming from a grown up perspective, I feel bad that her personal pictures were taken and are being shown all around the 'net and it's being displayed everywhere.

The pics were clearly meant to be private and I don't think she should be looked down on for it. Everyone has a private life and I think whats more sad is the media playing it up so much and making it such a big deal.

I've heard that a lot. Don't forget that the only times we've seen her she's in full makeup and whatnot because she's on TV or in a photoshoot. In those pictures, she didn't have a professional team to make her look like we're used to.

I know i thought about that too but even w/o the make up they don't look like her at all. I am going to see if i find one of the pics, its not her body, it was just a pic of her face, close to the comp but i guess they came with those other pics.

I don't know if they were supposed to be kept private, now their claiming that she's e-mailing the pics to other young celebrities, and has done it before. Don't know how much is true, but I thought this was shocking! I thought it was just supposed to be for her boyfriend. :confused:

My Kate turns 12 next month... She is a HUGE fan of HSM, and Grandma Got her tickets to go see them... She is so disapointed... Not that she won't be seeing Venessa, but that Venessa would do something so stupid! Kates first comment was "But mom! She isen't even married!" (God I love my daughter!!!!) It broke my heart to see my daughter do disapointed in someone she was so into... she really was one of her favorite stars!!! The one she was most looking forward to meeting! Now she is talking about how stars are fake, that they are just playing a person... acting good.... But that you never know if they are good people or not... So she is even more into her C-rock bands, cause those she thinks are more real people than actors.

Sucks for kids to have to get reality checks so early and with porn! Very sad indeed.

Neither my daughter or myself have seen these photos. My husband has, on a sports fourm he belongs to.. just as they were posted here. But I will tell you that it was for sure the lunch table talk at her school. Alot of children have full access to the internet on their computers. My child DOES NOT. I take the time to approve sites she can access. And she has no problem with that. She asks for access to this site or that and after I check it out... I normally say yes, sometimes, no. She understands.

Brittney Spears and Paris Hilton are two people she would NEVER be caught dead listening to or reading about. Barlow Girls and Super Chick she is all about!

We are talking about a girl who will not wear a skirt without shorts! lol She knows all to well about real life, I hide NOTHING from my daughter. She knows ALL about sex and drugs and the like. And she knows what is right and what is wrong.

I just think its sad when stars of their favorite "clean" shows turn around and do something so awful. Part of being a star in that position is living up to the role. Kids look up to you.

I hope you understand that living with someone before marriage and shacking up with whomever and sleeping with whomever are two totally different things. My fiance and I have owned a house together since before we got engaged, and trust me, he was not just some random guy that I decided "Oh I guess I'll live with him". A lot of couples who do live together are usually committed to one another and do have plans of staying with each other forever..maybe not all do, but a lot do. Also, if people want to have sex, their going to do it regardless of if they live together or not.

That's awesome advice! You always gotta watch what you say, what you do, etc. You never know what will come back later to haunt you. I love the saying "Live life w/o regrets", but a big part of that is doing things now that you know you won't regret in the future.
