I agree. HOWEVER, if she's old enough to be taking nude photos of herself, she's old enough to know that it IS going to get out to the public and she's old enough to know that she's a role model for young girls (underage, very young girls) and they don't need to be doing this. |

A hidden sex object is pretty different than a very out there full-frontal nude picture. Kids aren't going to catch the hidden sex things in the Disney movies they watch, but if they happen to get online & search for their favourite character in a very popular children's/tween movie this is the FIRST thing that's going to come up. http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=...+hudgens&meta= http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=...+musical&meta= http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=...+musical&meta= |
There may be reasoning for her firing we don't know. Maybe within her contract with Disney it mentioned something about if things of this manner would occur then they would break their contract. We just don't know... |
It doesn't say she was fired Disney had no comment on the situation. They would not fire her because HSM 3 would tank. They will do a clean up in time for it. BTW the pics are no longer up on the site. |

Not sure what you mean by the first comment, but to address the internet control software...that's my understanding as well, but not all parents have that for whatever reason. Plus, there are many MANY ways to get around that software. Google it. You'll get step-by-step guides for whatever type of parental controls you want to break out of. Kids aren't stupid. |
I just read something that said Disney was backing her even with her lapse of judgment and they are still in negotiations for movie #3. A lot of people have said that it would be too hard to explain why she wasn't in the third movie and that they wouldn't go see it. She made a bad choice that's come back to bite her. Bet she thinks twice the next time. |

But everyone is a role model to someone. I don't think kids are going to look up to her any less now because of the picture. I mean look at Britney Spears - she became the "sex object" that every mother hated to see their kids idolize. Just because she's an actress in a movie that a lot of young girls watch shouldn't mean she has to live her life to be a perfect role model to these kids. She's just an actress in a movie... Don't kids moreso look up to her character in the movie than the actress herself anyway? And she's not a little girl herself - she's 18 and now an adult. That's the problem with a lot of "teenager" movies. They cast adults in teen/child roles and kids want to be just like them but in reality the actor is like 20-something. I just think it's unfair that just because she's a Disney actor in a popular movie that kids like that she's getting so much flack for the picture (which was supposed to be private anyway). |

She bothers me anyway. |
I was thinking about this more and why was what she did so bad? It's not like she posed for a porn magazine or released a sex tape or even published this picture herself. People are naked a lot in their bedrooms. It's natural. She took the picture privately for her boyfriend. It was meant for him and her only. I know she's only 18 and idealy she shouldn't be having sex until she's married, but can your really expect her to not be having sex with her boyfriend just because she acts in a Disney movie? That picture was not meant to be made public. Ther needs to be some law about releasing pictures without the consent of the person in the picture. What if some reporter was looking in your window while you were changing clothes and snapped a picture of you naked and then published it? You didn't do anything wrong - you were just naked in your own bedroom, privately.... Same thing with her - she was naked in her bedroom and a picture was taken (even if she was the one who took it) that was meant to be kept private and it wasnt'. |
