Princess Diana's death
 

Okay, ladies I was watching "Lifetime" and seen the movie about how Princess Diana died. Do you guys think she was murdered or it was simply an accident?? That movie sure has me thinking it was murder...

I don't know. Theres different stories, one way or the other. But hearing about Camilla (?) the way they portrayed her, sounds likes Princess Diana was murdered.

I have always thought murder....I am going to watch that movie as it is on on demand thru comcast. I cried when she died. I dont know what it is about her, but man can she ever tough yuor heart. So beautiful and pure.

I agree. I remember the night she died. I was frieking out, and I was about 10 years old, I think. Maybe a little older.

It sure does, how come the police would not listen to anyone. Did you see the movie, "The Murder of Princess Diana" on Lifetime??

There is also an interview with her on Lifetime and she talks about how she touched so many people, she didn't think she would or could..

No, It was on the other night and I was in the middle of something. Hopefully it will come on again this weekend. Was it good? Sad?

I have watched a TON of interviews and documentaries on her. from what I have read and heard Prince Charles was very abusive to Diana not so much physical but mental. I think he had her brain washed into thinking she was NOTHING without him, well can anyone on here say Prince Charles has "touched" them??? He is the one that is noone without her!!!!

Yes, its very good and YES sad, but it tells alot from a reporter that was there and how they tried to run her off. It comes on again Friday at 9:00 p.m. and the interview with her comes on right before it at 8:00 p.m.. I don't know if you are the same time zone as me though..

I saw that movie too on Lifetime and I always thought murder...this just solidifies it for me.

I have always felt something was not right and things were being left
out. Of course money is a powerful weapon to hush those who need
be hushed. I watched the movie on Lifetime, even the title says it all.
If there were no truth in it would'nt there be a lawsuit? To prove it
looks hopeless.
I hope that ugly prince and his uglier bride enjoy their lives!
They both destroyed a wonderful, caring woman.

Let's not forget that she may have been pregnant. Would it
be proper for the future King of England to have a 1/2 sibling
who was Aribic? Queen Eliz would die of shame!

She herself in an interveiw said she believed there was a campaign against her. I believe she was murdered.

I really want to see this movie! Is it based on facts, or more of a fiction?

I think it seems odd the way she died, and with some of the things I do know I would say murder, but I really don't know enough to make an opinion on it yet.

I remember when she died, though I was young. So I don't exactly remember some of the details. :confused:

I've always thought she was murdered also. I have all the newspapers in our area reporting when she died. I just could not throw them out.

I'm anxious to see how our fellow YTer's from England feel and what their opinions are.

I always thought she was murdered I always thought prince charles had somthing to do with it because i think he thought she was putting shame on the family.

Since it is obvious that Queen Mary isn't willing to give the throne to Charles, I think he decided that if he couldn't be king he could at least have the woman he loves. So it is possible that he murdered Di.

On another note it could very well have been the Queen. Both of her sons have disappointed her and I doubt that she would want the future king (the oldest son) to have Di influence him and the throne. That would bring her right back into the castle!

What do our British members think?

I always thought that the "royal family" or even Dodi's family had something to do with her death:( It happened on my honeymoon, I'll never forget waking up, turning on GMA,. and seeing all the coverage:cry:

It's really sad, but I think she was murdered. I just loved her.

It has come to trial and done... finished!

She wasn't murdered, it was ruled accidential death... yes it came to trial, as do alot of things in this country... our system works different to yours!

Frankly she should be left alone, she should be remembered as the kind, caring and supportive person that she was. Every month something is dragged up and broadcasted... majority of it being heresay. She tragically died and that is what it is, a tragic death of a dearly loved lady... she should be left in peace without all this media attention that haunts our screens in documentaries, news and papers.

What was the police suppose to listen to? More hearsay? The followed up what was neccessary and ruled an accidential death...

Prince Charles wasn't abusive to her, neither physically nor mentally... their marriage broke up just the same as alot of others do... but remember it was a marriage break up in the public eye, break ups are hard enough without journalists making things up, people selling stories, etc, etc...

Prince Charles IS someone... he is the son of our Queen and he heir to our throne!

Our Queen is Queen Elizabeth not Queen Mary...

The driver was intoxicated, so I think that part was an accident when he hit the wall, but I have a hard time with the fact that it took 1 and 1/2 hours for help to arrive. I haven't seen the movie.

Thank you for your opinion, but who was driving the white car that hit them? Did they ever find out?
