I use photobucket to resize pics. All the pics in my photo gallery are done using photobucket. It only takes a click of the mouse to do. It is so easy anyone can do it. I love photobucket. It is free too.

I can't help Omega at all

, but I wanted to say how impressed I am with all of you coming to the rescue with good suggestions and offers to help. Wow. Nice place to be.

Isn't Yt great!!!! I did what I could for her, but unfortunately the cd rom won't even open up to try to boot from the recovery disks. I'm pretty sure its the hard drive, but shes got some options for repair.

It is great!! Luckily, with today's technology, unless the hard drive is completely toasted, usually the hard drive can be removed and the information retrieved (by someone way smarter than me).

I have several resize programs but my fav. is Image Resizer from Microsofts Powertoys,it is right in the IE Browser and all you have to do is rightclick then on resize , select the size and thats it

The easy way to see if your laptop has it, if you want to check, is go to start, run and type mspaint

And yes, your hard drive is usually recoverable. If you don't even have power to open your cd rom, it could be your power supply. Any lights? Can you hear the exhaust fan?

Yeah, the lights go on but nothing else, so the power is getting to it. Thanks!
