last night as i was flipping through channels, i came across High School Musical 2 and right then, the blonde girl, Sharpay, reached into her pink Barbie-esque convertable to grab a dog carrier, with a YORKIE inside! right then i was hooked. the yorkie makes several appearances in adorable matching outfits. they never said her name though.
has anyone else watched this? i guess it's going to be on all weekend long.

My oldest two kids LOVE that movie! I've never paid attention (I watched the first one with them and wasn't impressed) to it so I haven't seen the yorkie!

Guess I'll be watching the 2nd one now. Maybe the yorkie will make it worth suffering through!

My granddaughter said the doggie's name is "Blondie". It was cute, we had a HSM party at my house (about 18 kiddos) last night. When they saw Blondie, they all wanted one of my yorkies to hold. It was too cute!

I watched it so I could talk about it to my 6 yr old granddaughter.
My daughter let her have a party with some of her friends last night
so they could watch it all together. They have a home theatre in their home
so the girls must have had a real good time.
I think it is such a nice show for the young kids. Like a younger version
of Grease
The Yorkie was so cute. I really enjoyed watching it.

i dont know the yorkie in the movies name but it sure was cute !!

yeah, i was going to say that Blondie is Ashley [Sharpay]'s real dog,a MaltiPoo.
and.. i guess the pup was a boy. i had just assumed that he was a girl because of the tiara on his head in a few scenes, but when they first show Sharpay getting the Yorkie out of his carrier i noticed that she had said "come here, boy" or something to that extent.
but i'm still not sure what his name is..

I read somewhere that the Yorkie belongs to the director Kenny Ortega. And the cute little boy's name is Manly, he is 2 years old. In the movie his name is Boi Evans. My cousins are huge High School Musical fans so I had them all over on Friday for HSM 2 party.

We had a HSM slumber party at my house with teens! LOL We love it and think Zac Efron is HOT

The lil Yorkie was adorable but I dont know if they ever mentioned his name. I found this online that it was Tisdale's idea to use him

Best accessory: In "HSM2," Sharpay sports a tiny Yorkie belonging to director Kenny Ortega. His role wasn't planned: Including him was Ashley Tisdale's idea.

I liked 2 but I thought that 1 was better. In 2 they all looked a lot older I thought and some of the scenes just looked funny. They are coming out with HSM 3 in Oct. 2008 in the theaters. And they are already talking about doing a HSM 4. How many more can they do seriously?

haha ooh High School Musical. Well, I think it's cute.

I'm BIG into theatre, and almost no one in the theatre fan world has much respect for it. I was in it at a community theatre recently, and I really enjoyed it. Pretty corney and cheesy, but I still think it's cute. I watched the second one with my friend last night. I liked the first one more, but it was still enjoyable.

But that little yorkie belongs to the director. I've seen him in some of the "behind the scenes" things. Cutest.Dog.EVER. :P

(But who cares how anyone feels about it? Zac Efron is HOT.

Yea I think Zac Efron is hot too!

He looked really grown up in the second one. I want to see the movie Hairspray with him in it. Anyone seen that?
