Good news, the baby finally arrived on Wednesday.. 8/8/07. He weighed in at 7 lb. 5 oz. 19.5 inches. His name is Aidan Michael and I love him to death, lol, it's crazy how quickly you get attached. He has a heart murmur, they don't think it is anything serious.. but he has a defect in his left ventricle, basically if this part of your heart doesn't work right your deoxygenated blood entering your heart and your oxygenated blood leaving your heart will mix, and your body won't get enough oxygen. Anyways, they say that this will probably heal on it's own sometime in the first year.. I just figured I would ask every willing person to send a prayer up for my little one, every good word helps. I probably won't be on here much but want to say, thank you all and god bless. Here are a few pics from today, he is 5 days old.

OMG love his little face. I especially love the second picture where he seems to be saying what the heck is with that light...he he. Very handsome little man. It really is amazing how even before you have held them that you fall madly in love with them.

Oh goodness, what a darling baby! He looks so HEALTHY! I worked with pediatric heart surgery patients for many years, and I know the amazing things that can be done....I will pray for that problem to resolve on it's own; it very very often does! Bless you and little Aiden (Love that name!!!).

Oh he is just beautiful. Congratulations. I am sure he will out grow
the murmur. My niece did and today she is 40. No problem ever.

congrats on your new bundle of joy .he sure is a handsome boy ,my niece also had a heart murmur and she is 27 and very active and it healed on its own .

Bless your little boy...he is beautiful!.....I just love the first pic...there's just something about babies sleeping w/ their little tushes up that's so cute....

The doctors seem confident he'll be ok, and that's a plus in his favor....just enjoy him and try not to obsess too much, even though that's what mom's do best...;)

He is so beautiful. I love that little face. I will keep him in my prayers, Just wanted to say we have had a few baby's in our family born with the same problems and they growed out of it. Congrats to such a beautiful baby.

aww, your baby is soo cute!!

I was born with kind of the same problem 21 yrs ago. Mine never held up on it own but I am healthy and you could not tell I have anything wrong with me, by looking at me. They only advise I give you is don't treat your son any differently they you would a normal healthy child and he will grow up just fine.

What a precious little bundle you have. He is beautiful! I love the first pic. So much innocence - if only they could keep that quality;) . Trust what the Dr.s tell you and Aiden will be just fine. Most of all, have fun:) .

Your beautiful lil boy will be in my prayers! My third son was born 3 months early and with this problem too, He is a fine active 11 year old now! Enjoy your baby, they grow up so fast!!

baby Aiden is adorable. I love the pic of him asleep on the sofa :) I miss having babies around. my oldest son had a heart murmur, he is 33 now and has been fine, i will keep baby Aiden in my prayers...congratulations mommy :)
