Hurry Hurry! Hey Brittany. We're all prayin, but you gotta get that baby to the emergency vet right away. You can also check to see if there are any Yorkie Rescues in your area -- they might be able to help. www.yorkshireterrierrescue.com Where are you located? What City & State? Maybe someone on here is close and can help. :( |
He needs help NOW!!! Sweety it should not wait until the morning, by then this poor little guy will die. I just think of the horrible pain he must be. Try covering his face with a blanket, perhaps this way you could pick him up. Sorry to say, but it's cruel not to give aid to that poor puppy. Liza Nana to Pierce & Mia :littleang |
TAKE THE DOG TO THE VET. IF YOU CALL AND THEY SAY THEY ARE CLOSED, CALL ANOTHER ONE. DONT MAKE THIS DOG SUFFER!!!!! :thumbdown :thumbdown :thumbdown |
There must be an emergency vet somewhere near you!! You have to talk your parents into bringing him there!! I don't undertsand, why is he in the yard and not in the house?? Good luck, My prayer go out to you and your dog. |
I AGREE!!! And this is why there are some people on this board so weary about a MINOR caring for a YORKIE (or any other dog for that matter!!!) If you had a Yorkie would ya not take it to the vet too?? I mean there has got to be an EMERGENCY VET OPEN NOW!! This dog needs medical attention ASAP!!!! Sorry but this is rather sad to me that the dog is suffering! My prayers to your dog |
he is not a yorkie but he is small i live in alabama flat rock and i have clled all of the vet around here there all call of them :( i love my baby please pray he will make it untill the moring he is drinking water i have beged mom to take him some where but she is crying to i love my baby i want him to live forever |
This is horrible. The dog rescuer in me comes out right now. I dont want to sound harsh but at this moment I could care less about what feelings the people are having because all that I am thinking about is how that poor dog is suffering laying out in the yard. He should be on his way to the emergency vet. And if he isn't then he should be in the house. Plain and simple. :thumbdown  |
i aregee he sould be at the emargie vet dad is telling me that we dont have anfe money right now i told him i didnt care i love my baby and i want him to be better |
This is what I do not understand. Why not use the $150 you have saved for your yorkie???? Would make sense to me. |
my moneys in the bank and there not open this late |
Quote:
There are no ATM's??? Your dad cant put up the 150 dollars for now then you give him your money when the bank opens if there are no ATMS Please dont let this dog suffer in a yard! Where is the neighbor who ran him over! cant he help |
There is no excuse for letting this dog suffer. NONE. This is horrible. I dont know what to say. I am just amazed at the lack of care for this dog. Awful.  |
i just check on him and jave him some water and he is a sleep now at least he is getting so rest please stop junging me becouse he is outside dad couldnt carry him no more becouse he bit him my pawpaw said there was no use of him living and he would come shot him if dad wanted him to i told them they were not going to shoot my baby he will live till the moring for i can take him to the vet |
Hurry Hurry! Most vets will not worry about the money when you have a suffering dog. They will take care of the dog and then worry about getting paid later. When you call the vet, there should be an emergency number on the answering machine (usually) -- call the number and tell them that you need help. This is CRAZY!! What if you were hurt and needed medical attention, would you wait until you could get the money from the bank????? |
The reason why it seems that we are all judging you is because this poor dog is suffering. And to be honest with you, this thread that you started is going to be brought up from now on when you talk about wanting a yorkie. There really aren't many people that are going to want you to have a puppy when you are letting this dog suffer. This is horrible. This poor dog is in pain. Do you not understand that?? He is more than likely not asleep. He probably passed out due to shock. |

God bless that poor suffering dog! |

PLEASE JUST CALL THE VET, you would not like it if you were suffering and everyone was just going to wait it out until the morning. |
this is just awful your parents really needs to get this dog some help. This totally upsets me.ugh!!!!!!! |
I assume that you have a vet right? Well call him at home!!!!!!!!!!!! They do come in for emergencies!!!! Of course no one is at the office now but some vet is at home somewhere. |
This is the second dog you have had hit by a car. Do you not tie the dog up? There is no need to shoot a dog that can be saved. We had a dog dragged by truck for a mile in our town and it was saved. I know a dog is not a child but in my mind I would act the same if it were a child. I would not leave it out side all hurt and bloody till morning. In the country there are vets that make house calls. They do this for horses and other farm animals. I am sure there must be one in your town on call. I will pray for this poor little dog. If the dog is shot instead of taking it to a vet then you should not own another dog. |
Wow, good job Lenora! I'm impressed, however it doesn't seem like they think they need one. |

Brittany, this seems like it is up to you to show how responsible you are. If dad wont do it, you have to. Browniesmom posted numbers, find one and call someone quickly. Infection can set in quickly in a broken leg which is very bad. DO THE RIGHT THING BRITTANY, PLEASE!!! |
