Oh, and I went here: http://www.fijiwater.com/Artesian.aspx I guess Fiji is technically rainwater! LOLOLOL Tap is too, isn't it? LOL I think we're seriously gett'n ripped! LOLOL |
Well think about it. Where else would they get water from? A river? A lake? the swamp? All drinking water comes from a city water source or a well. I've always hoped it was tap water because the other sources don't sound too appealing. What they do is to filter out all the the minerals from the water, minerals that your body needs. It just goes to show you, with the right marketing, you could sell ice to and Eskimo. disclaimer Not intended as a slam to the Eskimos. |

What most people don't think about, is that there is NO NEW WATER. All the water that is on earth, has been here since the beginning of time. It just gets recycled. You are drinking the same water that people drank thousands of years ago. |

i used to drink aquafina until a year ago, when it started to taste funny. dasani was never a favorite of mine because they have sodium in the ingredients and you can taste it. for some reason, the filtered water in my sink and refrigerator have an odd taste to it, so i rarely drink it. more recently i've been drinking the new SMARTwater (by glaceau) that's available. it's vapor distilled water with electrolytes added in. i was expecting a weird taste from it, but it's the purest fresh crisp bottled water i've had in a long time. it's kind of pricey, thus i tend to buy a case from costo every other month and then stick with fuji (my all time favorite). |
whoops. i meant fiji too. haha. i'm sitting here eating a fuji apple with my fiji water. :D |
I drink plain old tap water with lots of tap water ice cubes.;) |
I'm reading some of your comments and I'm wondering if anyone feels that dessani tastes weird! like really harsh and disgusting compared to other water |
Yeah I knew about this a while back. The rule for bottled water is: if it says "purified (drinking) water"... it's basically tapwater if it says "spring water"... it MUST be spring water So, just make sure you are buying spring water and not purified! |

I have bottled water for convenience if I need to take it with me, but generally it is TAPWATER that goes down my system :) . WA (spokane area)water is amazing and have been tested to be far better than most bottled water (as discussed in the local news :) ) so i couldn't be happier :) |
After reading the PH Miracle, I stopped drinking bottled water and started drinking distilled. Bottled water has a lower PH where distilled is closer to neutral. I also started adding baking soda to raise the PH and make it alkaline which is what the body needs. The book is very interesting and says that the American lifestyle causes the body to be acidic and that is why we have diseases and we are so sick. The body needs an alkaline environment to keep the blood healthy to fight bacteria, funguses, viruses and other diseases. IT tastes a little salty at first but I dont like to drink any water anymore without it in it. IT seems like it is missing something now and I feel so much better since I have been adding the soda to the water. |
When I worked at an environmental testing lab, we tested tons of water. Even bottled water sometimes tests positive for coliform. And some of it is just tapwater. IMO the best water is artesian well water - if you are lucky enough to be near one. |
