Its just Rosie being her loudmouth self |

:yeahthat: I'm so sick of her and her never ending rants on other people whom she probably don't even know personally! |
Rosie just wants attention. I don't see anything positive coming out of the things she says. Rosie acts like she's perfect or something. |

You're exactly right. Why doesn't she do something positive with her popularity. She makes such a big deal about her children and how wonderful of a parent she is. What a great roll model.:thumbdown She is just an obnoxious person. |
well....no offense but if people didn't listen and hang on every word these 'celebs' say - then they'd probably say alot less. Our culture has turned anyone and everyone into a celebrity and the more they act out the more attention they get - It's probably nothing more than a way to get more media coverage. It seems these days that being obnoxious, drunk or high (or all three together) sells LOTS of airtime |
I find this slightly odd. I mean, yeah, Rosie said something kind of rude about someone else, but HOW often do we say negative things about celebrities on here? Or just every day in general? But because it's Rosie O'Donnell, she's a jerk with a miserable life!? When interviewers write their articles, they don't always type what is actually said. Sometimes they write what they want to have been said to make the article more interesting. I'm not saying that's the case here, but I'm saying that it is a possibility. Rosie isn't trying to just get a job. She's said before that she has more than enough money, so she has no great reason to try to make more. I don't belive Rosie is a bad person. However, she has a big mouth and sometimes talks without thinking - much like most everyone here - MYSELF included. and people have asked "Who is she to judge someone else?" Well. Who are YOU to judge HER? and I'm sorry, but I just read another comment about how she talks about people she probably doesn't even know personally. But it's OK if WE talk about Rosie, even though we don't know her personally? I'm sorry....that's....not right. *steps off soapbox* |
LOL Well said Megan  and how old are you again ??? :p :p :p |

Well this is a forum and dont see anything wrong with people giving opinions. As far as Rosie, I dont see anything wrong with her giving opinions either it is the way she pushes it on you that I think is wrong. |

I don't feel that Rosie pushes her opinion on people. She states it, and stands by it. I think if more people stood by what they said things would be a lot better in this world. |
She may stand behind them but just because she has opions it doesnt make them factual or doesnt mean that someone has to agree with her. I have definitely seen her pushing her opinion on others and thats how she has gotten the reputation she has. |

When these celebs do stuff like that it just makes it all the more attractive for the teen girls out there to copy her. I WISH They'd do a little research before getting all these pets they seem to collect |

I've seen a LOT of untrue statements made about Rosie but anyone who has taken the time to due research on her, her Broadway Kids and NUMEROUS other programs for children as well as the work she has been doing for our soldiers will tell u she does it out of real love and compassion - not to be a celeb or for publicity. I was lucky enough to meet her during a trip she made to Central IL in support of a program here where seniors are helping children read, perform math skills and learn social skills. She came for a day, talked at length about how she could help, and has provided constant support since. I've researched her in depth - not her celeb personality but the person who gives her time and money to children and other very worthwhile causes. We may not always agree with someone (celeb or not) but resorting to name calling and purpetuating untruths doesnt help any situation. If any of us had constant monitoring by media I'm sure we'd find ourselves appearing not so nice and judged by many who dont believe in what we do but does it make you any less you? Does it make what u believe in any less valuable? |
