My baby move!!!!!!!


It's like butterflys in my stomach, I've been feeling it for the past couple of days and I asked my Midwife about it today and that's definately what it is!!!!!!!!

One of my most excellent friends has a little girl named Kimmy. She is so sweet! I like the name Amelia, too.

I take it then you are hoping for a girl?

How very sweet and exciting. Congratulations to you! I also had bad back pain, sciatica problems. Things all seemed to gradually get better after my son was born.

Oh Vicky I am so happy for you. I haven't felt my baby move yet but that is b/c i am only 13-14 weeks into the pregnancy. You said you will find out in 4 weeks what it is. Does that mean that you are 16 weeks now? I love both the names for a girl. I am hoping that if I will have a girl it will be called Alexandra Marie and if it's a boy Alexander Jay so I can call the baby Alex either way. LOL I am so so so happy for you.

Yes :D But trying not to get my hopes up too far... I keep having dreams that it's a girl and last week I dreamt I was actually at my 20wk scan and they told me it was a girl.

I'm glad you back started to get better, I can't believe how bad the feelings of pain can be! Sometimes sitting at rest in a certain way will get too painful...

My midwife said because of my small frame that I was feeling it moving earlier than what most people would do, she said it wasn't till around 18wks that you would even notice and alot don't notice the butterfly feeling and first recognise a kick.

Today I'm 15+6 so 16wks tomorrow. Do you not know how far you are yet?

I hardly wait to feel the kick too or at least the butterfly feeling.
Hope your back will feel better soon. We have so much in common, we are both pregnant, both from UK, both have yorkie furbabies, both in the GE both 25-26 years old and both small frame. lol

Congratulations!
It's reassuring to feel them move, totally worth whatever pain that movement may cause...just to know they're alive and well.

BTW-I had my daughter 16 weeks ago, and when I was 16 weeks along in my pregnancy I could feel her move also. (I have a small frame like you do)

I lost weight before I knew I was pregnant and I'm glad I did now cuz to get those little funny feelings!

Congrats on your daughter, what did you call her?

I wound up naming my daughter Taylor.
Taylor Anne (Anne, while I never really cared for the name...no offense to the Anne's out there! It's a family tradition to give the first girl that middle name.)

Otherwise I was looking at: Elise or Saphira.

No matter what name I thought of or one that was suggested, Taylor just stuck.
