Where are the Harry Potter fans here?
the book releasing is tonight at midnite..woooohoooo. I cant wait to get it, im going to the midnite release party in the Palisaeds mall in west nyack, ny.
It would be great to meet a YT potter over there. :teethysmi

I'm going to be at Wal-Mart tomorrow...well, today actually...anyway, I'll be there when it's released at 12:01! Yay!

I, too, am waiting--impatiently for the book's arrival. I preordered mine from Barnes and Noble. It is supposed to be here tomorrow (I hope--they promised)! I have plans for the weekend--I don't know why I made them--all I will want to do is read!

My son and daughter-in-law (32 and 28) will be at the bookstore at midnight, too! They have been doing the HP midnight run since book 3!

Ordered mine through B & N. Tracking the package, it's been checked in here in town today. I'll be camped out on the front steps tomorrow morning waiting for the big brown truck.

I just checked the tracking on mine--it is in the next town over (30 minutes away)....

I am! I can't wait for it!!!!!!!!! This weeked is dedicated to reading!!!!! I have a summer course and we have to read 2 novels every week..I finished the ones i need just so i wont be bothered!

Me and my four sons are BIG fans of Harry Potter books. I can't wait to read it! I will be getting mine asap early Saturday morning. I get to read it first because I had finished the other book's before the boy's did.

My oldest was telling me that he found a site that had spoilers for the book, but I told him if he came across things not to tell me because I want to see for myself how the book ends.

I ordered mine from Amazon. I made the mistake of picking up the 5th one at midnight and I waited FOREVER. There was so much going on but all I wanted was to take my book and leave. I picked the 6th one up the following day and nobody was there so it was perfect. This year, I figured that I would be out of town so I had it shipped to my parents's house so I can start reading it ASAP. I'm excited to see what happens and how the series ends.

I was in Kmart last night getting cat litter and they were announcing over the loud speaker that the store was staying open until 1 a.m. Saturday and passing out line tickets starting at 10 p.m. Friday for the 12:01 a.m. sale of the book!

Glad I got my cat litter last night. It will be a mob scene of muggles tonight!:D

I preordered mine through Amazon and hoping it is here early in the morning. I have all of the books memorized and can't wait for this one. Anyone know anything that is gonna happen? A few people got theirs early and supposedly leaked it onto the web.

Big Harry Potter fan here :) Mine is arriving at my house tomorrow where it will promptly be taken by my husband until we leave for our surf trip next Saturday. I'm not going to be able to listen to any news or go on the internet all of next week and my office mates have been warned not to slip up with any spoilers! I did the same for the last book and reallly enjoyed reading it away from everything.

I pre-ordered on Amazon. I did that last time and it worked well. Just try to avoid the news and the internet until you finish reading :-) I hope to finish by Monday!!

my stomach is turning thats how excited i am:p . You know whats a good read to for all you harry Potter fans :The Bartimaeus Trilogy-by jonathan Stroud, Its really good. When i was reading the second book i finished it at 830 pm and made hubby take me to BN to buy the tirid book b4 BN closed at 9..lol. Thank your for the recommendation. I am beginning to look to life after Harry Potter. Do you thing the Bartimaeus Trilogy is an as interesting appealing read to the middle aged as the Potter books? :)

Yes I do. I find that it gives potter a run for its money. I honestly dont know why it isnt more popular. To give you an idea of what its like, its more like books 5 and up. Dark and funny. i think you will enjoy this very much.

I also suggest the Inheritance Trilogy by Chris Paolini....I am still waiting on book 3 of that one!!! Book 1 Eragon and Book 2 Eldest were awesome!! and if you saw Eragon in the theaters without reading the book, you missed ALOT!

I think that is the hardest thing--not to hear someone else talking about it or read something about it. My son, aunt, and I all finished the last one within a few hours of each other. We were have a big family get-together the next day. We wanted to really talk about it--had to keep quiet, because daughter-in-law had just started it that morning (she had to wait until after son finished it)! I told them to buy 2 books this time and read at the same time!! LOL--they did not! I am always so afraid I will hear something and spoil it for myself!

I finished the book last night ( I am a huge harry potter freak so I read all weekened) :) I wont give anything away, but it was so good that I am so sad that now its over :( I wish there was more books like maybe the kids of harry potter going on an adventure lol

I finished it at about 9:30 last night.:) (Thus the reason why I wasn't on the PC all weekend.)
