Apologies to any Paris Hilton fans.....but i can't stand the girl!
It's bad news if shes gone and got a Yorkie now....look what happened to Chihuahua sales...every Paris wannabe wanted one..and some breeders were rubbing their hands together knowing that they were in such huge demand that they could ask any ridiculous price they wanted...and got it.
It's the reason Chihuahuas are so expensive in the UK..because of the fashion trend..Paris, Britney and so many others parading around with token dressed up teeny pup under one arm...teenage girls were bound to follow.
Will these teenage girls still be there for their pup when it's 14 and suffering god knows how many ailments and needs round the clock care?....probably not.
Sorry for the rant...but this does annoy me!

We're also running a contest for an $800 carrier with a matching leash and harness set from Lucy's Luxuries too. Dogs have to be 12 lbs or less so go for it :D

Chihuahua's were expensive over here before they became a "fashion trend", mainly because there were limited breeders and not really a common cross breed.

Teenage girls aren't going to have the money to buy a Yorkie in the first place to be able to go "parading around with token dressed up teeny pup". I'm 25 and couldn't of afforded to buy Gypsy myself, my parents bought her for me as my birthday present and I wanted a Yorkie because there was Yorkie's in our house before I was even there and I grew up with them.

It annoys me how much of a big issue people seem to think it is that they have got Yorkies... look on Wikipedia and see how many celebrities own Yorkies... they aren't the only onces and I'm pretty sure film stars have less time to spend with their Yorkie's than Paris and Britney!

I really hopes that she takes care of her. Paris is going through a lot right now and even though she is rich and probably has people to take care of her. Her dog needs her!

Teenage girls (some) will have the money if they whine enough to mummy and Daddy to get them one! and it's not just Teenage girls..most young women who are old enough to earn their own money.
And i'm pretty sure Chihuahuas were not always THAT expensive...i have seen Chi's advertised for £2,000 is that not just a little ridiculous? Yorkies are also more expensive than they were a few years ago...i saw a Yorkie advertised recently for £800!
What annoys me most is you see either Britney or Paris on the red carpet with a small pup under their arm..not the best place to parade a little puppy...it must be terrified with all the crowds, noise and flashing lights!
I just don't think they always put their babies first..but thats just my opinion...i could be wrong.
I too have always had Yorkies in the family ever since i was a child, they are a wonderful breed to have around.
