What I was "thinking" when I said that (and may I add here, I am not thinking all too clearly yet) was if that had happen to a little girl, she may have died for sure or lost all her female insides. I know the boy may not be able to have a child now either. I raised 6 sons, so it really hit me extremely hard, but I have an 8 month old granddaughter who's parents have a Pit mix, but looks more Pitt. How am I "supposed" to feel. YOu folks can go on and not have a flash back when you see a Pitty or even have one, but I'm not going to apologize for the way I feel and how this horrible thing has deeply affected me and I will probably never let me look at one the same way again. I hope I will heal enough to see them as I use to. |
we understand - I think that story has had us all wondering WHY and thinking of our own kids and grandkids (If I had any)....It really is a horrible story - it wouldn't have been as horrible if that poor boy didn't get so damaged he needed surgery. I mean it would be - but it wouldn't be as tragic if he weren't harmed....A child of 2 normally doesn't remember too much as they grow up - (though my oldest has memories as far back as that age) but I know I don't remember being that age at all. This poor kid will probably remember all pain and operations in one way or another :( and that poor dog - he doesn't even realize he's being punished for something that animals do instinctivily - though not with humans ....I really wonder WHO prompted his actions |
