And to the OP: That's weird. So let me get this straight...you "kinda" agreed with someone's thread and told them that they gave you another side to think about and they got pissed? I mean, I know that YT is a place to learn and say our side. And of course we love when people agree with you. So, why would they get mad? Do they not care what you think? :(

That was the first time I ever sent someone a PM, telling them they had written something that made me think differently, or look at a different angle at a discussion, or make me want to take an action, whatever--it was a compliment and meant to be one--must be a new record--getting someone upset or annoyed in 20 words or less.

I guess I will have to add statement to future PMs stating this is a compliment.

Too funny. and yes I love postive stroke PMs. Not PMS.

I've sent PMs complimeting ppl on their yorkies, asking them questions and comforting them if something bad happened to them. I also love getting PMs, I haven't had a bad ones but if I did no biggie. There are always ppl that like to stir things up :rolleyes: PMs are fun though and great to share information

i received a mean PM once, but i just tried 2 ignore it. i admit i kind of kept away from YT and posting for a while but then i realized all the good PM's outweighed 1 bad one!

i've done the same thing .. haven't had a bad one 'yet' but if i did no biggie i think ...

i love getting pms! its a nice way to get to know each other besides from what pple post in threads and stuff ...

I sent a pm to someone (Yorkie breeder) on another forum(Biewer) and told her of a Biewer forum to join that was more active. She did join the other forum but never responded with a Thanx. It would have been polite. A couple of Biewer breeders helped me with a pm that went on to emails and 3 hour phone calls. I would help anyone with what I've learned as I was helped, pass it along is the way I feel.
I have added a Biewer to my group of pets. She's great but I did a ton of research before and waited a long time before finding what I wanted. It's necessary because of many issues with breeders here and from Europe. It can look so easy with any breed and looking at a breeders beautiful dogs but no one realizes how many were placed in pet homes before acquiring the ones that are gorgeous. Let her learn the hard and expensive way.

I think PMs are a great way to share thoughts and make friends, as a rule.

And Prettyinpink I've done the same thing, and helped others find their perfect dog.

Dee sure does have gorgeous dogs. I wish I had found her before I bought my Biewer. I'm not complaining but it wasn't easy importing as a pet buyer.

Thanks. There will be more puppies in the future; I'm sure your puppy is beautiful too.

I enjoy sharing the photos of the puppies. I have a wonderful webmaster who has created a great website.
