having a hard time with YT lately I am not someone who goes looking for the threads full of debate and controversy... i just try my best to give the best advice that i know... just to help someone out like so many on here have done for me. But lately i've found that in giving my well-meaning advice, people are attacking me on it... when i read these posts my heart drops and it makes me not want to be on here anymore... it only takes a few to ruin it. I'm just so sad that all i'm doing is try to help and some people just can't see that. it is totally ok to not agree with what i think, but i just feel there is a polite and nice way to go about that.... maybe i'l just browse more and keep my opinions to myself |

Don't let a few ruin it all for everyone. I have seen it too where someone comes on and asks for advice and when someone gives it, they proceed to lay into them for it. Alot of times I feel like I am done with YT too but then I start to think why should I let someone spoil something I enjoy. I like good controversies and debates and it always seems like someone has to take offense and get P.O'd and then the thread gets ugly. Just ignore it and stick around. |
Oh please don't stop posting. I know some can be rude and obnoxious, but we love you!! Don't leave!! You can always report a post if it's unacceptable. The admin will review it and I believe they will suspend for too many nasty posts. I'm so sorry you're getting attacked. I know you are just trying to help people and it sucks when people shoot you down. Don't be discouraged, keep your head up and ignore those people. Whoever started the stilled enjoyed your help even though some broke in and weren't nice. Hugs to you!! :hug: |

I do agree with you. That's why I tend to keep to myself and browse a lot. It just makes it just that much easier so my feelings dont get hurt. Some people are so harsh. Anyways, I will keep my mouth shut, because I could go on and on about that. I think you and Layla are awesome, I love reading your threads and posts! You two are just the cutest little pair :) |

Aw, don't let some of the world seeping in drive you away! That would be wrong.:( We're trying to close a thread now because that's the direction it's going. Not that it's unwarranted ... when you read the title you just know it's going to be one that is going to go downhill quick. Luckily, I think several of us are in agreement that the culprit in this case is someone recently banned. Here's hoping! |
I agree with everyone else...I love to hear about you and Layla! I think your advice is right on point! I just got *pulled* into a thread that turned ugly and now I wish I had never gone there! I know most everyone here at YT is honest and above board...it is those few that makes things bad. Please stay on board!:D |
Don't stop posting! I enjoy reading your posts. I like getting different opinions and advice which was the whole reason I join forums. If you're feeling a little heated, take a break for awhile, but come back. That's what I do if I feel I'm being attacked too much. Please don't leave permanently! |

I know exactly how you feel. I have wanted to take a break as well. I feel like everyone is ready to attack what you have to say and to be honest, I feel like things are too competitive around here. When I first joined it was fun. No Drama or very few if any, but now OMG, too much drama. I have also run into a few people who seem to befriend you, but end up being complete phonies who lie to get people to like them. SO SO Sad. Oh well just my opinion. |
