Help! I found a stray...what kind of dog is this? My husband found a stray yesterday on the freeway on ramp! YIKES! I want to know if any of you could give me a guess on the kind of dog so that I can have an idea when I call the vets around here. I am also going to make flyers and if nothing happens of that, call the SPCA or a rescue. She is obviously someones dog, she had a leather and fur collar (no tags) and its housebroken and very sweet! I want to find her home! |

How big Its hard to tell her size in the pics? Approx how big? |
She kind of looks like a Long Haired Chihuahua but he snout is big so she must be mixed with something else. Hope that helps a little. |

Oh yes, no doubt she is cute! I wouldn't hesitate to keep her, (well maybe hubby would, haha) but she is obviously someone else's cutie! :) |

That is possible... she does look young! I just called a bunch of vets and no one has reported one missing. I am going to make signs and hang them around. Any other suggestions??? |

I thought she looked like a cross between a Pallpion and a Pom. She looks so sweet, I'm sure someone is just so sad that she is missing? Is she still a pup? |
She looks like some mix that has terrier in it, my parents had a Cairn terrier a long time ago and that is what I thought of when I saw the picture. They shaved Taffy one summer and that is what she looked like! |
Yeah, I am pretty sure she is still a pup! I know she is too sweet looking! I made up some flyers and I am going to go hang them around once my daugther wakes up from her nap! Thanks for all of your help everyone!!! |
Some newspapers do allow free ads when you find a dog, and can't find the owner. I'd still run pics by the closest vets office where she was found. And close to where she was found, might want to put out a lot of flyers, in and close to the area. Good luck. |
i'm guessing pom/chi mixed with maybe something a little bigger. i see the pom possibility and the Chihuahua possibility. but also see the shephard possibility :) boy..this is a stumper for me LOL |
Definitely a Shepard face! She looks young, but not super young...if that makes sense. Her feet look too small to be all Shepard, so I would just guess that she is a Shepard mix. She is beautiful!! How sad someone must be feeling right now. :( Lucky for her that you and your husband came along. Good luck finding her family. Tammy |

The face screams shepard. It looks like she's either mixed with a chi or a pomeranian. She certainly is a cutie! Hang fliers in vets offices, shelters, and the like. and if you can put an ad in the paper. :) |
