I have a whole list somewhere(but of course I can't find it). My sister is pregnant so I dug out the list to give her ideas. Some of the ones I can remember also, some of them could be gender neutral(like Riley or Tristan) Ava Mia Liberty Chloe Zoe Sailor Madelyn Sommerset Emmerson Addison Kirby Fiona Paige Pheobe Claudia Claire Lola Natalie Naomi Tessa Tru Livia Layne Layna Evelyn(Evie) Bronte Bronwyn Violet Romy Tristan Draven Ian Blake Remington Jesse Jake Trent Liam Dragen Sage Riley Ryder Julian Sterling Seth Lincoln Kellan Jagger Mason That's all I can remember off the top of my head, if I can think of more I'll repost. |

And Julian is a lovely name but I don't know how well it goes with the family name. |
I think old fashion names are the best. My son is named James and my two daughters are Victoria and Sara Marie. What about...Andrea....Alexa....Alexandra Elizabeth Parker....... |
I beg of you, all of you, please keep in mind that these children will be in school some day. I'm sorting through the mailing list right now for our school and well, every year they get more and more interesting. Unique names are one thing because you might have a shot at spelling it. One that always drove me crazy was "Amberly" It's like two parents couldn't agree on Kimberly or Amber so they made up a name. But at least I can spell it. Crazy re-spellings are another story all together. I've seen Apryl, Alyx, Alysyn, Melyssa, etc. What is the obsession with Y's? Also, what everyone thought would be unique is not. Trust me. There are always 15 Mackensie/McKinsey/McKensey's, 10 Taylors, 18 Catelyn/Caitlyn/Katelyn/Kaitlynn/Katielynn/etc!, etc. There are so many more "unique" names we have a multiples of. So these "unique" names are no less common than the Mikes and Beckys and Jessicas. Also, parents name their kid, say, "Michael John" and then call him "Nick" If you name your kid Michael and call him Mike or Mickey that's fine. Don't name him Michael and call him Nick. NAME HIM NICK. Or Michael Nicholas. Or somehow name him so that regular people can figure out who on earth he is. The most frustrating thing is when they tell me their name and I write "Katie" and then they get mad that I didn't write "Kaity" or "Catee" !! They will need to get used to having their name spelled wrong. Generally it will be right on official documents because those are all computer generated, but when someone just write their name down they WILL need to spell it for them. Anyway, I'm not putting anyone down or any of these names down, I just want you all to try to see the other side. If you still like the name "Rybekkah" then go nuts. :D |

I just thought of another..... my best friend's fourth and final child (and they are all named "S" names!) is SUTTON. When she told me that's the name she wanted to use, I really had a hard time with it but ya know, it has really grown on me. Her other three kids have very common S names so this was a little "out there" for her. Your last name of Parker is so great to match names with. Really the only thing you may not want is a first name ending in "er"..... kinda like I couldn't pick any names ending in "ly" because that's how our last name ends. Good luck!! |
I just thought of another beautiful girls name is Isabella and I think Isabella Parker would be a beautiful name. Maybe instead of Ryanna just use Ryann. Maybe even Raeann or Rayann, Isabella Rayann Parker?? |
There is someone at my school named parker purdue :D |
I know how you feel about a name "grabbing" you.. my first daughter is ARIN, BUT, she was Amanda until I saw her and it just didnt fit... everyone at the hospital called people and told them Amanda was born... NOT... haha I had a LONG list for my second daughter, then one day I saw a monogram on a diaper bag: HARTLEY and it just stuck to me... She is HARTLEY ANN my friends daughter has JULIANNE and ANNALISA on her list for girls, these are cute and original these days... boys: I truly like old names too, like PHILIP, SCOTT, MICHAEL(and I agree, if you name him MICHAEL, dont call him Joe.. haha.... Good luck! |
Thanks...I do like the name Isabella out of all the names. What about maybe Isabella-Marie Parker or Alexandra-Marie Parker or like someone ealse said maybe my middle name Andreea And for a boy, I still don't really like any. But you guys are of so much help. So thank you lots. Maria |
i think marie is a great middle name (as mine is!). i'm a Tina Marie. not many of those anymore (i'm 30 now). our son's name is Raven Cain. Cain and Raven are the only 2 names we agreed on. We decided on Cain first as a non traditional biblical type of name and Raven i saw in a baby name book as "dark haired child" and thought it would be nice to represent my husbands line of Native American heiritage. we also decided against using names already in our family so that neither side would be depressed or offended we used the other persons name, etc. Raven is the only Raven in his school (girl or boy) and since he has dark hair and beautiful brown eyes, it suits him. also, alot of kids in his school right now are named after cities. We have Dallas's, Austins, etc. (yep, i'm in Texas). and i have always wanted to name my little girl a pretty name that could be shortened to a boy name. (don't know why) like Victoria/Vikki, Alexandra(or Alexandria)/Alex, Nikoletta/Nik or Nicki, etc. sorry if i wasn't much help! i will tell you i aLWays hated being known as "tina b." we had a "tina s." i wonder if she hated being known that way too... |
My brother and his gf are having a baby girl and they plan to name her Azalea. I think that is very unusual. I love unique names too. I really like the names September and Summer for a girl. I know this girl that has a son and his name is Sincere. He is the only person I know with that name. |
