It's freeking me out thinking of picking out eye boogies from someone's
else's pet! Yuk. I'm not staying there only walking, feeding and leaving.
I really am afraid to put my hands into someone else's dog's mouth. I would never ask anyone to do such a personal thing. Gotta give this more thought for sure.

Good grief - one night ? I'd tell her to pick out eye boogies herself when she gets back and that isn't part of your 'duties' and as far as teeth - MOST people don't do it everyday - It's nice she does but she can do THAT when she gets back too ! hahaha - talk about ANAL !:D

I was just stunned by the request. If I don't do these things think

Do it this time only because you did not tell her you wouldn't. You need to get things straight with her though. She is a bit over the top and I'm surprised she didn't ask you to wash the dogs butt after it poops!!!

LOL she should me where the wipes were just in case anything got
stuck. Somehow I didn't mind that too much these things can happen.

WOW!... Do they want you to clip around the butt too? :eek: .... I think they may be trying to get some free grooming...tell them you charge for that stuff....

That makes me laugh! Ok, maybe if it was my mom keeping Sadie I might ask something like that, but not anyone else!!! It is asking a little much.

That was good for a laugh, Carol;) . That dog better be valuable enough to have a Lords of London insurance policy on it if it can't go one nite with out being "de-boggied" and having it's teeth brushed! Talk about above and beyond the call of duty! Are you expected to clean it's paws and wash it's fanny after the "walk"? I know when I've had to have pet sitters, all I asked was to have the food dishes filled and the water changed (no walking needed, they were cats and birds) and a little socialization if there was time. She's asking tooooooo much in my opinion. :rolleyes:

OK..this is one of the first posts that made me really laugh out loud!! :)

When she watches your pup, I guess you're going to come home to one squeekly clean little dog! (Maybe she won't have a hand tho if she tries to clean a stranger's dog's teeth tho! lol).

By the way, is she the type that wears foil on her head in case of radiation??? LOL

No, I wouldn't ask my neighbor to do all that. We have the same arrangement with our neighbor, and we just looked after their dog this past weekend. All we had to do was give her fresh water, feed her and take her outside while they were gone. We did spend extra time playing with her outside and letting her get exercise, but we didn't have to do anything else.
