Hi all,
It's a sad day around the country today, but especially here in Charleston. Nine of our bravest have lost their lives fighting a fire at a furniture warehouse last night about 2 miles from where I live. I would just like everyone to say a prayer for all nine, their families, and fellow firefighters. Thank you.

Oh my, I heard about it on the news this morning. I said a prayer then and again now. For those blessed souls and their friends, family and for your community.

I saw this on the Today Show this morning. How very sad is this.

God Rest each and every one of their souls. I will say a prayer for their families. To give them the strength to get thru this horrible time.

These men gave their lives to help others. How very self less of them.

I heard about this awlful and feel so bad for the families and friends of the firefighters. They are in my thoughts and prayers.

Firefighters, policeman and our troops are the bravest people in the world and I thank God every day for them. God Bless and watch over the families of the nine firefighters that lost their lives. It is heartbreaking.

Yes, this is indeed a horrible, horrible tragedy

I am also here in the Charleston area..in fact one of the firefighters that was killed was also a coach at Summerville High School where my children attend

very sad day....

I just saw that on the news tonight that he was a coach there. That must be so hard on everyone involved and especially the students at SHS. Such a tragedy. I drove by the scene today, and just started crying like a baby when I saw all 9 homemade white crosses in front. I am really praying for them all...
