shes such a brat she deserves to go to jail |
She went to jail NOT for DUI, but for driving with a suspended license. Most people who are caught driving with a suspended license don't serve jailtime, and if they DO serve jailtime, it's around 3-5 days....not 45 days!!!!!!!! I don't like Paris Hilton at all, but to me, this sentence is a bit excessive. However, she should be accountable for her actions and I do believe she should serve whatever sentence the judge gives her, whether I believe it's excessive or not. |

I have to say the 45 days is quite excessive for the violation, seven to ten days seems about right....but I really don't agree that we like to knock her down to feel better about ourselves...it's hard to feel much sympathy for an unsympathetic person....Paris had a court date in front of the judge to address the violations, but she still had the arrogance to show up late for court, you don't poke a hornets nest w/ a stick....she angered the judge & I can say is I don't blame him...I would NEVER show up late for a court date...it's that attitude of superiority that makes her an unlikeable person... sure, she's not being tried for her personality, but it's that obnoxious attitude that put her where she is, she just PO'ed the wrong person this time...& money won't save her this time.... jmo :) |

Thank you for your kind words. I have nothing against drinking it's just be mature enough to call your parents, friend, cab or anyone that will make it safer for everyone including the person drinking. |
the whole thing is a freaking circus. No wonder California has $$$ issues when they waste it pissing over stuff like this. Paris shouldn't have drank and drove. But the issue is she drove on a suspended license is why she was issued the jail time. Do they not have better things to do? Like murderers and rapists to catch? Or gangs to battle? Or are they trying to make an example of her? This judge reminds me of the moron who resided over the Anna Nicole paternity thing. What a showcaser! |
She went to jail for violating her 36 month probation, not driving on a suspended license. She was let go the first time and given probation and she violated it. That means jail time. She has violated it twice since she was given probation so I think she got what was coming to her. Sometimes you have to knock people over the head before they finally get it and maybe that is what they decided to do this time. |
She should have been treated like EVERYONE else - no more no less ..... that goes for all the rich that think their money will buy them out of everything - the law is susposed to wear a blindfold but we all know that's a bunch of BS. in her case it seems they're being harsher than needed now with this reversal EDITED - I didnt know what CO_yorkie_momma just said is true - if she broke probation then she SHOULD be in jail - the average joe would be. |

But the streets are unsafe with Ppl like Paris as well as any other who drives under the influence of. My Best Friednds sister was killed 2 weeks after graduation from High school because of a drunk driver and all she was doing was sitting in her living room on a Friday night watching TV. The drunk driver came crashing through the living room wall and she was killed. Like U said.. this will give her a chance to think long and hard. |
