I need a GOOD facial moisturizer Girls, I'm getting old! It seems like as soon as I hit the big 30 in August, crow's feet and laugh lines started making their ugly appearance! (along wth lots more grey hair  ) What's a great moisturizer or any skin care products that you like to use?? |
LOVE LOVE LOVE this stuff: http://cosmeticscop.com/ I'm 38 but am told I look 28 - usually bc of my skin, apparently. Read the history of how "Paula's Choice" got started as a skin care line and you'll see why her stuff is so special. I've recommended to several people and they go nuts about it. |
I use Arbonne. It's great!! |
My girlfriend is a Esthetician she told me that if you want to save money get the aveno skin care line it is just as good as the $$$$$ ones :) |
I like Clinique facial moisturizer a lot. If used it for as long as I can remember. I have sensitive skin, and this stuff is very gentle, and keeps your face soft and nice. |
Avon has some fantastic lines too |
I have used Arbonne, Avon, Clinique and a dozen others. The ONLY one that's worked well over the years is Sheisedo (sp). I love the stuff, and my skin is pretty sensitive. |
I went to beauty school for my esthetics license years ago and learned all about great skin care but ya know what? I have been using the same products my grandmother used and my mom has used all her life and we all have great skin. Johnson's Baby Lotion as a moisturizer and Vaseline (just plain out of the jar) around the eyes and lips at night time. My mom has incredible skin and my grandmother had the smoothest skin I've ever seen. I don't know if it's the products or genetics but it's working for me and it worked for them so I'm sticking with it :) I have tried so many other products (i do like the Aveeno line too) but I always come back to baby lotion and vaseline ;) |
I use Mary Kay. I especially love the dermabrasion which is not a moisturizer but I really love it. It's pricey but you can really feel and see a difference. |
I use Oil of Olay total effects in the morning. At night I use Oil of Olay age defying anti wrinkle replenishing night cream. I love this stuff, it really works for me. :) |

My friend sells Avon and lets me order at 40% off, so this is a major savings for me. |
I use so many, now I using Dee Simmons and is great, also Philosophy have good one too:thumbup:  |
I like Patricia Wexler products pretty good, there is a started kit you can buy first to see if you like it. I get it at Bath and Body Works or Victoria's Secret. I also like Stivectin. I have been using Lancome collagen eye cream and it works pretty good too. I have used alot of products and I can't really say that I LOVE any one of them, but the Patricia Wexler has been the best so far. |

clinique - really like their 7 day scrum, a nice exfoliant - not to harsh murad (nice light sunscreen, spf 15-30 depending where i'm going, and has a yummy smell), la mer - at least for now until i run out, damn its expensive .. rather save that money to spoil my furbaby ;) lancome vitamin C serum (works really well as a preventative against wrinkles), Shisheido - MY FAV! i have their face wash, softner, and moisturizer. i'm a fanatic and very picky about skin care - i don't like things that feel oily or heavy on my face .. so far the one that i've like the best is shisheido, works well with my skin and the climate i live in. |
I'm a consultant with Beauti Control and I would be more than happy to send you out a mini of our skincare. I just turned 30 in September and had the same issues that you described. I've been using Mary Kay avidly for atleast 10 yrs. and it just wasn't taking care of my problem areas. A friend of mine introduced me to Beauti Control and all I can say is that it is the best I have ever found! You can read more about it at www.beautipage.com/stephanielitherbury |
You should ask Brutusmom for a sample of the Arbonne Re9 products. She sent me some and got me hooked. I still use the cleanser and the eye cream but unfortunately the day cream was too much for my oily skin. I am now back to using Purpose lotion (NOT a cream) which my dermatologist always recommended. It might not serve me well into the "wrinkle years" but it's the only thing that doesn't cause me to break out. But I swear I noticed a difference within days after starting the Arbonne Re9 products. If I could get past the breakouts ;) I would still be using the day and night cream of Arbonne's. They truly do make your skin smooth and younger looking! |

I really like NIVEA products! I'm 56 and no wrinkles at all... or is that b/c Mitzi gives me a total facial every morning with her sweet little Yorkie tounge? |

And thanks Kim for the tip about baby lotion and vaseline! I'm going for that tonght as I have both sitting in the cupboards from when the kids were babies! :D |
I have used Serious Skin Care for years! http://www.hsn.com/cnt/sf/default.as...Ski&prev=hp!sf I really love it. I mostly use the Vitamin A line, but I have a variety of all the lines. You can get great deals on there packages that include a variety of their line. And you can use all the different line together. I'm very often accused of being younger than I am, I'm......well that part doesn't matter :D , and I'm guessed at 28 or younger ALL the time. So I guess it must be working!!! |
